To anyone who plays assassin, maybe you can explain this fucked up way of thinking. I have kills so I'm good. Just got through an obnoxious game where we had a 14 kill zed stroking himself about how good he was all game only to lose. Why? He did NOTHING but killing the akali who was already 0-3 at the beginning of the game. Meanwhile an MF who has 29 kills is free ulting in our entire team. We literally lost the game because assassins would rather have a prettier score than actually win the game. I can't count how many times this has happened, assassins do almost nothing but throw for the sake of KDA and it's DISGUSTING.

Most assassins are designed to fulfill someone's power fantasy. Not because they're actually skilled to play.

I also hate being ahead but not being able to 1v1 an enemy who's far behind and got a single item "just because this champion is like this" :v)

Its not assassins mentality... its dumb one.

I had same with a Jinx over fed today : better go 1v1 vs Yi than group (we won... but was close). I really hate this moment when the fed start doing sh*t.

I'm not sure that is anything specific to an assassin. Zed really should be killing MF. That's his job. Take out the highest value target on their team.

There is a catharsis of sorts to getting a good KDA.

In an ideal world, the assassin clears the board so objectives can be taken. In the later stages, he eliminates the glass cannons.

Too many assassins spend all day admiring their KDA. What they need to realize is that they're inherently not in team fights. Meaning if you aren't killing someone - you're helping the enemy. If 5 players are alive, assassins aren't doing their job.
