Why can't we just revert Cass?

No one likes the new Cass. They're just sticking with it out of pride I think.

Why don't we get rid of botters by actually banning botters and not by changing the champions they use into an unrecognisable mess?

Well Cass still feels the same. I've been playing her all day yesterday and she's still super powerful and super fun.

I don't want Cassiopeia to be reverted, as I can understand why she was changed due to the difficulty in balancing AoE poisons. That said, I hate this rework due to the way it makes 75% of her kit irrelevant, despite the fact that the the ranked players get hard-ons looking at her on sheer numbers alone. Numbers don't make a champion fun if the kit lacks diversity of play. What should be done is another trip to the drawing board. She needs to be pulled apart and completely overhauled so she can be balanced without creating problems while at the same time returning to a poison focused mage, rather than a burst focused. I find it absolutely criminal that the character who's entire concept is about poisons has her poisoning abilities dwarfed by Teemo, Singed, and Twitch. That is unacceptable. So yes, overhaul her again, except this time, put a LOT of effort into it, and please don't rush it like what happened with the travesty that was the Shurima event. I would have preferred they delayed Shurima if it meant getting all of the reworks, lores, and bugs on Azir mashed out instead of rushing it with half-assed works.

I am sure there are a lot of people who do not like the way the rework turned out, but she is brokenly op atm and in need of MASSIVE nerfs.

She is like xerath, he was so fun before rework but probably not that good. Now he is extremely powerful and possibly the most boring thing you could play.

I HATE this rework. But I don't think it's very practical to ask for a reversion. They have too much pride to admit the rework's faults, plus they gotta explain why they wasted all that money and time...all just to undo all that effort.

I rather they overhaul this shit instead.

Well...not 100% correct.

PLENTY of people like the current Cass...look at all the people jumping on the "but 54% win rate!"-band wagon. Plenty of people looking for an OP champion to abuse like the current Cassiopeia whose sole redeeming quality is how overloaded her Passive and E is LOVE the current Cassiopeia.

I mean...yeah...it's true that these same people would be exactly just as happy to play a Blue Rectangle firing Red Squares if it's numbers were high enough. But semantics!

(just look at every single person defending Cass right now, "she's super strong!" "but muh high winrate!"...literally none of them even played Cassiopeia pre-rework)

They changed her because you pressed Q a couple times on your lane opponent and they lost the lane.

This was easily exploited by bots because they could basically have a 99% Q accuracy rate.

Now the Q doesn't really do shit early on, but the E does.

She's borderline overpowered at the moment but all of these whiny Cassiopeia players keep bitching. She didn't get a Karma rework, she plays the exact same. But oh god the bitching.

I imagine there are people that actually like the direction of the rework in terms of the focus on Twin Fang for single target damage and for setting up stronger poison damage. Maybe even those who like the rework regardless of how powerful it got buffed to. At least AP Marksman is what I thought Cassiopeia was before the rework in terms of her potential sustained damage on a target and her high reliance on positioning.

Unfortunately, people that generally like the rework typically get drowned by a monsoon of QQ from those that don't like the rework and also those that just don't want their freelo nerfed.
