Simply put, once you have enough items, there is no room to buy pink wards, thus allowing a champ like vayne to abuse stealth due to riot lacking any counter meassures since the removal of occulus like 2 years ago.
Thanks Riot! We appreciate people being able to "out play" us when the reality is that once you cant buy pink wards anymore, there is almost nothing you can do to stop vayne once she ults / tumbles
By that logic, Vayne's late game used to suck back when you could have pink wards on a trinket. You'd always have a pink ward late game and so Vayne's late game was complete shit.

The problem with Vayne is that she's a duelist ADC. An ADC by definition is someone who has to be peeled for, and Vayne's pretty much being REWARDED for being caught in 1v1 situations. That to me is the biggest BS. It's like a tank-melting assassin.
Not to mention the yellow trinket could be upgraded to place pink wards instead, but riot removed it too. [zombie-nunu-bummed]

if your support built sightstone item you can easily have 2-3 of these and not be lacking in wards.
idk i think vayne's lategame is fine, but i play bullshit like azir and ahri so im maybe biased.
That's not really the problem since late-game is not supposed to be played alone and you can still use AoE abilityes or skillshots on her if you have a red trinket (or are lucky enough). The problem with vayne is that she gets a lot of free damage off even when you the counterplay right. You just can't negate her damage, there's no way around it, she will ALWAYS proc silver bolts at least once during a trade and chunk you too hard for you to actually catch up with her, your only bet is to outdamage her and, unles you're a hyper-bursty champ or a hypercarry yourself, you just can't hope for it, especially counting that she does a lot of true damage. She's balanced overall, maybe she gets her powerspike too soon, or maybe silver bolts should just be a straight up on-hit instead of a 3 hit since that would actually be more fair on her actual kit imho so she does need to be looked at a bit imho but really, the stealth is the last of her problems imho.
With that logic would not eve,shaco,twitch and such be OP late game as well? Or maybe they are, i just don't see them that often to tell.
Uh, last time I checked, unless someone is extremely fed, almost no one has a full set of items till at least the 50 minute mark. And you really shouldn't be wandering around alone anyways if they're doing that well. She excels in kiting and melting single targets. But yes, sure, just complain about an ADC that's so suboptimal currently she's barely worth playing at all because of how bad she is right now.

imo her early should be buffed but her late game nerfed
