Who outscales riven?

People say Nasus but Nasus either gets kited or stunned or what not in teamfights so that doesn't make up for his crappy laning against riven. Riven will just shield up dash in and get your adc. AD does NOT fall off even if tanks build frozen heart as the tanks ARENT the target. The adc or apc or non tank support is the target.

That's an odd question to ask. I take it you're asking who outscales Riven into the late game? Riven is an early to late mid game champion, so any true late game champion who has a good mid game would be your answer.

However based on the examples you've said something tells me you're asking who beats Riven. The answer to that is also pretty simple; any duelist who can either survive her CC long enough to start dealing their own damage, use their own CC to prevent her from doing hers, or both can easily beat Riven.

Garen completely shuts her down in lane and becomes a god tank

Irelia and Jax are skill-matchups against Riven. Basically, whoever initiates the trade is at a disadvantage in most cases until one of them gets a lead. However, they are both capable of outscaling Riven as the game progresses.

Nasus will crush her if you avoid falling behind early-game. It can be done, but you have to know the matchup. You probably want to be splitpushing instead of teamfighting in many cases however; as you said, he is susceptible to kiting during teamfights.

Olaf can outsustain her and crush her in fights due to E poke, sustain, and CC-negation. The only real issue (aside from dying early and falling behind) is that Riven may be able to outrun you when you use your ultimate if you don't have Righteous Glory, Youmuu's Ghostblade, or Ghost.

Gnar can work quite well if you avoid letting her engage on you. You have to play far back and be prepared to jump away whenever she tries to engage, but you can easily CS/poke from a distance with autoattacks and boomerang. You should start with Cloth Armor and build tanky (i.e. Sunfire Cape or Black Cleaver first) and you will easily outscale her in teamfights due to your CC. In addition, you can easily chase her down a lane with your W-passive and Q slow once you get an advantage.

Garen and Darius and Renekton are supposedly good at shutting her down, but I don't play either so I can't verify that. I think you have to rush Sunfire Cape in this matchup though so she can't burst you and you live long enough to kill her.

Chogath can work quite well due to his durability, sustain, and silence. If Riven ever gets low and you have your ultimate up, it's pretty easy to kill her.

Shyvana can work if you rush Sunfire Cape and can force an extended fight (i.e. chase her down with Burnout after she combos you and when she tries to escape).

Jax is very good against her as long as you don't fall behind early.

Rumble is great against her early but he loses mid-lategame in duels (still better for teamfights).

Darius beats her at all stages of the game.

Tryndamere outscales her hard, though the early game is really tough unless you get a lucky crit in lane.

Xin Zhao is actually really good against her. Jarvan as well.

There are a couple early game champions that can crush Riven actually.

Since Riven has an excellent early game herself, most late game champions actually have trouble with her. If you insist on taking someone who can out scale her, Jax , Shyvana , and Ryze have alright laning phases against Riven and also out scale her.

Some champions such as Yasuo or Vladimir are directly countered by Riven, but are much more useful than she is late game. If you are proficient with these champions, you will out scale her in the sense that your impact will be much larger than her's in team fights.
