[Poll] Just out of curiosity, which of these pisses you off the most?

wanted to collect some kind of info as to what people despise the most about other players' actions.

The AFK- that guy who just ups and leaves the game or just sits at fountain leaving the game 4v5
The Flamer- that guy who is spouting racial slurs at the rest of his teammates blaming everyone but himself
The Feeder- that guy who has given up and is now repeatedly killing himself
The Troll- that guy who is making stupid mistakes or plays because he thinks its funny (this option also includes that one guy who wont say yes to the surrender vote)

personally I say the AFK, but I wont explain why I think this just yet because I don't want to possibly taint any results. also upvote this please, I'm trying to get as many opinions as possible.

The AFK, Flamer and Feeder i can all understand they just arent having a good time, and either just want out, want it to end asap, or are just plain pissed off.

The Troll is a guy thats like: "Im not having fun, so fuck THIS TEAMMATE in particular." Being pissed off at everything i understand. But deliberatly ruining the game and any chance of fun for 1 or a few specific people is just a complete asshole.

I was stuck on feeder or troll, at least with feeders you know you can't rely on them in any way, and maybe even use them as bait.

But with trolls, they are sometimes random, helping, then suddenly Tahm Devouring you into their team.

nobody flames for no reason. so.. i don't care , specially because i am not a 10 year old that's gonna start crying.. but i really mind an afk , a feeder or a troller because they just waste my time

You missed mine in the poll, "the guy who refuses to listen." This is the guy who never groups. The guy who pushes without warding and doesn't stop when you ping him back. The guy who refuses to listen to build suggestions when they are behind (don't go black cleaver and ravenous hydra when you are 0/3/0 on Renekton). All the previous stuff can be explained by they are just bad or ignorant. This one is what really annoys me. The guy who refuses to use his 2 wards in the trinket all game even when you beg him to. I don't even care if you place it in the middle of the lane. Just don't sit on x2 item 3340 for 20 minutes.

I agree with this. League is a team game, but often there's this really toxic mentality where players just completely isolate themselves and refuse to operate as anything other than a lone wolf, no matter how destructive they are being to their team. What's more, these same players often tend to react badly to mere advice, let alone criticism, and will even sometimes double down on whatever it is they're doing wrong out of pure spite. This effectively puts everyone else on their team in this shitty situation where they're constantly fighting with one less teammate, but can't really communicate either because the one player who isn't helping will take it badly and make things even worse. Often this entire set of behavior is characterized by a complete refusal to participate, and since this means the user isn't too likely to say anything exceptionally outrageous in the chat feed, it also means they're unlikely to suffer real long-term consequences for their behavior, which also feels bad.

For me it is the flamer because while I have pretty thick skin to all 4 of those things, a lot of people actually get upset from being flamed. I have won a lot more games with feeders, trolls, and afks than I have won with flamers because flamers drag the rest of the team's mentality down with them.

4 people can still want to try even if someone is gone, or if a guy is dying over and over, or even if they are straight up running down mid again and again. It is a lot less likely to have 4 people who will stay motivated in the face of someone trying to demotivate them.

That being said I use likeliness of winning just as an example of how they influence people. It is really the fact that they are insulting and demeaning others that they know nothing about that offends me the most. People have enough self doubts without someone who knows nothing about them coming along and insulting them.

Also, from my experience, the Flamer can cause another member of the team to become a Troll, Feeder, or AFK. I absolutely say Flamer is the worst.

I don't like bullies.

So 9 times out of 10 I don't like flamers.

It's probably not the safest thing for me to do but I'll dish it out to them if they do. Some people do this because it makes them feel powerful because they know no one will stand up to them.

Feeders (Inting) are the worst, giving up and relinquishing all hope is the worst, even more destroying your teammates chances of winning by aiding the opposite team.

With the AFK'er they can have the benefit of the doubt, we dont know their internet status, if there was a blackout or if and emergency happened, plus if they arent there they arent aiding the enemy team, a 4 vs 5 with none one on the opposite team fed is manageable.

With ragers you know they are trying their best, but they are doing the wrong means of doing so. So A for effort, F for results, which can harm other players and the overall experience. The solution is still muting them and its quite effective, they cant harm you if you arent listening.

Trolls are annoying but can be managed.

The flamer can be muted, the feeder can be carried, the AFK can give you a chance to farm more and gain more experience, but the TROLL... there's nothing you can do about the troll. The anivia that walls you into the enemy team, the jarvan that is "helping", the bard or kindred that saves the entire enemy team, or just the player that intentionally feeds, calls out to the enemy team when you are doing drag or baron, tells them the location of your jungler, etc etc.... The TROLL is by far the worst.

Definitely the troll, simply because they're the hardest to get punished. Int feeders, afkers, and flamers can all be easily identified by Riot or the automated system. But the troll can remain undetected for a long time because the game has to manually be reviewed by Riot and a decision reached after an assessment of the facts. Meaning that Bard that's "helping" by ulting you as you run away, or that Riven who never once leaves top lane and refuses to communicate, or that ADC who constantly runs into fog of war and gets caught out will continue to ruin games for people much longer than any of the other types.

Feeder and troll make the game harder. Flamer makes the game more tilting. AFK is a 50/50 in some cases. If its that one 3 cs/min annie top thats 1/2 who afks while your bot is fed, the game is still winnable. But in most cases its just trying to win a boxing match with a broken arm.

Here's the thing, when I get an AFK or a feeder, it's instant closure. In my mind, I've lost the game, and I either open if my team's willing, or use the rest of the time to practice.

But when there's a flamer it just goes on and on and on. And these people never shut the fuck up, they just ramble on and on and on and just drag the team down morale wise and gameplay wise. I swear to god some of them would talk for 5 hours if they could.

Haven't had many trolls in ranked, in normals I guess it's okay...

The Feeder can potentially be a good distraction, as the enemy team uses spells and abilities to kill him instead of us, so we just wait for the enemy to go ham on him, then we follow.

The AFK is often an auto-lose, which, while annoying, sometimes the AFK leaves after you were already losing anyway. And the rare cases where you win a 4v5 make it oh so sweet.

I can mute the Flamer.

Thus, the Troll is the default "winner" I guess.

When someone's Agro and flaming in my games they usually make the stupid mistakes because they think it's funny and feed. Usually because I wasn't ganking their 12-0 Jayce at fifteen minutes.

The flamer, by far, seems the worst in my opinion. I'd rather you leave than sit there and degrade me and my team as human beings. Feeders aren't that bad, as they can turn into proxy's late game which helps you out a little(having one/two of their team chasing him through the jungle just for that 50 gold is amusing to watch as we take their inhib) and trolls can be a little funny at times, but its the flamers, the outright toxic players who are like that because they want to, that irk me the most. I believe in civility, and these guys throw that notion out the window.

The flammer, feeder, and afk can all be reported and recognized on the system. the troll cannot. the trolls are the ones gaming the system to cause harm and be able to continue to.

AFK - sometimes unavoidable, honestly too rare to really bother me.

Flamer - I don't have problems with these guys, just report them and move on.

Feeder - mostly depends if he's right, I agree there is no point in playing 4v5 or 20v5 kills.

Troll - this guy I hate the most, who is intentionally being a piece of shit, or who won't just let me leave a 4v5 .

I hate all flamer, feeder, and troll equally. They all contribute negatively to the game to ruin people's experience.

As for the AFK it depends on the context of the situation. AFK for good reasons like an emergency, power outage, ISP problem, etc are okay. It sucks they're afk but it's rare enough that it's not a problem 100% of the time.

If you afk for dumb reasons like jg dying in a failed gank, someone "ks", or "you're not performing well" then you deserve to be perma banned.

To be honest the trolls and the flames, i have thick skin and won't get emotional over a troll but jesus my teams are full of cowards and flames turn my teams into afk's. Fuck i voted troll by accident. Take 1 off troll and add it to flame.

Everyone except the AFK can be carried and played around. Sometimes, the troll and feeder sometimes baits the enemy team so hard that it turned to our favor. The flamer can be muted, but sometimes can be good and is still trying to win the game and you can also play around that easily.

I played along with the trolls before, and sometimes they can be fun to be around. Actually a case-by-case basis, though.

One missing person from the game entirely fucks up the game harder than everything else. Muting doesn't work, you can't play around them because you just get statchecked by enemy team since there's more people on enemy team than yours.

I actually just lost a game because someone troll-picked Taric mid because Yasuo was banned. He went 0/9 and flamed us at the end game, said Maybe you wont rage ban yasuo next time`, and proceeded to lie about it in after-game lobby and said to the other team me and our top were trolling to attempt to get us reported

The thing I hate the most is when my supp misplays and gets us both killed early on, then proceeds to spend his time roaming, leaving me alone vs 2, and then the whole team flames me for being a useless adc cause I'm far behind and do no damage.

Now THAT gets my blood boiling so much it makes me want to int !

Trolls can't even get banned, inters get banned VERY RARELY if their KDA was actually something insanely radical like 0\21 as far as I know, flamers get instabanned and there's a mute for them anyway
