Riot, you gotta come up with a cooler E for Kindred

Kindred is looking awesome. The lore is great, the character model is great, and more importantly it has a pretty interesting kit. The ult will be fun to play with and the psychological aspect of Mark of the Kindred is great. Which is why that E sticks out like a sore thumb. Is there some kind of obsession happening at Riot with 3 hit autos or something? I'm not saying it's too weak or something either, just that it's super boring in comparison to an otherwise awesome kit.

Too be fair, it fits a strategic need for Kindred, in that it gives it the minimum amount of CC required for ganks and will provide needed single target damage against stronger jungle creeps. I'm just saying that there's gotta be ways to fit that strategic need while also finding something new to put in league. I'm not saying it has to be super different either, just make it so that it adds a strategic element other than "shoot a target three times, which i guess i was gonna do anyways."

For instance, you can make it more thematic by making it so that Wolf sticks to the target and does damage as they move ("Wolf chases what does not willingly go") instead of the three target auto. Now it presents a unique choice for the guy being attacked and Kindred. Or alternatively make it so that the extra damage triggers after a set amount of TIME kindred has been targeting a single champion with autoattacks, making it a choice of "do I want to kite away right now, or am I on the chase".

Maybe those examples suck, but I'm sure there's gotta be a better ability than the current E that doesn't force huge changes (or any changes) to it's animations or kit. I believe in you Riot!

I cannot think of a better mechanic to use for Kindred's E. It's boring, and I'd rather it wasn't another 3-hit, but it is also the best way possible to fulfill what is needed. It provides a quick bit of CC to help chase/escape, and reasonable damage if it can be procced (requiring Kindred to keep up and be autoattacking to get the damage off). There is not, as far as I know, a better mechanic to provide damage if Kindred sticks to a target while providing some soft CC that would not be much stronger but just as boring.
