I think it's lame that Raka won't benefit from hitting multiple enemies anymore
I don't get the point of this. It's not even really a nerf it's just discourages strategy. The mana boost from Alignment is also entirely unnessecary imo. i get that riot apparently wants to force raka as far back into the backline as physically possible (which is all these changes will accomplish), and i can agree with the idea of nerfing raka (personally, i would rather just increase the health cost or mana costs some more but whatever), but i don't see what taking out the skill from an already mechanically simple kit is supposed to accomplish.
Also, the alignment change in general seems dumb to me. The 5 seconds merely encourages the most annoying kind of raka play, aka backlining and waiting. It's the least fun part of raka for both the enemy and the player. Meanwhile, frantic healing in actual combat, when raka is most vulnerable, is nerfed so hard it's almost not worth doing. At the very least don't make Alignment pass automatically to the guy your healing, it doesn't help it just discourages raka from doing the one thing she's supposed to do, heal. you might as well penalize adc's for autoattacking, or mundo for hitting cleavers. Oh and the mana buff will likely synergize too well with certain champs, so you will probably end up nerfing the heal again to compensate, just calling it now.
Want to hear an actually helpful change? Make the soraka self heal act like a thresh soul that she has to pick up. Boom, i just fixed Soraka. Not that this matters, Riot will likely push the change through, and I'll just find another support to play, I'm not a morde player or something (lulu looks kind of fun).
