Irelia's Ult is useless against everything but minions. It needs buffing.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who has noticed how little damage her ult deals. After more then two years of owning Irelia I've found that there is only two reasons to even bother using her ult. One is to clear a minion wave and heal up quickly. The other is just to throw it behind you as you run for your life with the enemy champion chasing you. Why it was nerfed so bad I will never understand. I mean its an ult that does less damage then basic attacks half the time now. Can it even be considered an ult anymore? It's more of a long cool down poke.

This is all wrong, I have been playing her in the jungle a lot now that people realized she works amazingly there. Her ult is 4 semi nukes that secures kills while ganking. If she is fed her ult will bring an adc or support to 25% hp. You can also auto while ulting, maximizing your damage while it HEALS you.

Irelia's ultimate ability actually does quite a bit for her.

-Secures Kills in team fights where you can't run after a low hp enemy or when Q is down/slightly out of range -Provides wave clear if your team needs it -Can provide the extra burst sustain you need right before you all-in your lane opponent -Can be individually used to proc sheen/triforce, essentially giving her a lot more damage once she builds them (and Triforce is core anyway).

While it isn't game changing like a Mundo Ultimate or a well timed Zilean ultimate, this makes her not reliant on her ultimate cool down. Irelia has the luxury of not being restricted by her ultimate cool down the way a Mundo is. Irelia's ult is fine how it is, especially given how relevant she is right now.
