Late game champions should be weak early game

Anivia who has insane teamfighting gets a guardian angel on her passive. Playing an assassin against her is awful because for some reason her Q, E combo does more damage than my full spell rotation and I can't all in her since I'll waste my ignite or ultimate just to remove her guardian angel.

Cho'Gath who can stack HP infinitely and deal 1000 true damage with his ultimate has free mana and HP from his passive.

Sion is a tank who scales well into late game and is also a lane bully with his E. Same with Gnar.

Nasus is a tank that can stack damage infinitely but can also beat anyone no matter how much stacks he has after he buys Sheen.

Anivia who has insane teamfighting gets a guardian angel on her passive.

Meanwhile, she's one of the, if not the, slowest mover in the game, can't farm for beans pre-6, and is extremely limited in her ability usage before getting item 3070 and item 3010.

It's not even a proper item 3026 because:

  • You have 6 seconds to kill the egg
  • The egg has negative armor and MR before lv12,
  • She respawns with as much health was left on the egg with no extra mana (GA gives 30%max on revive).

Don't stop attacking Anivia until you hear the words "an enemy has been slain".

Nasus is a tank that can stack damage infinitely but can also beat anyone no matter how much stacks he has after he buys Sheen.

Nasus is also worthless late game unless he farms his face off. Beating him is a simple affair:

  1. Pick a ranged champion into him
  2. He goes to CS, you poke
  3. ?????
  4. Who's a good puppy?

How is using your ultimate on Anivia when she has her egg up considered a waste? Her egg is a 4 minute CD, while most champions ultimates have like 80-100 seconds on their ultimate. It's called use your entire combo + ultimate on her to force her egg and try to kill it. If you can't kill the egg in time, then just back off and repeat once your ultimate comes back up again, you'd have enough time to use your ultimate like 2-3 times before her passive comes back up again..and that's not even counting any CDR/Ultimate hat or anything.

Also she pays a lot for that passive as well, being a extremely squishy champion with still one of the lowest base HP in the game even counting the base HP buff that mages got for rune compensation. On top of being a slow champion with no mobility, and slow moving projectile stun. Also pre 6, that Q + E is her full combo...even when she has her ultimate, that E is a large portion of her damage unless she can really keep you in her ultimate but that can easily be played around.

Btw what Assassin are you even playing into her that you can't out-damage her Q + E with your full rotation? Because most of the assassins, if not all can do that.
