I'm glad I'm not the only one that saw this. 8% current health, 8% missing health, and a slew of extra damage from devourer on every AA. He makes a damn fine duelist like this, and his mobility keeps him safe/sticky.

I go AP Fizz Jungle. The problem is that Grievous Wounds from W helped on the camps which I wish Riot would add back for at least the neutral monsters.

with the remake, fizz is a better jungler. AP has never been very good in the jungle for fizz, now the more viable path is better than ever with a maxed w. he outclears everyone but kayle... and lets face it, kayle is shit at ganking.

While I think I kinda get it, mind explaining the reasoning behind your build?

maxing W gives fizz insane base damage with a ton of up-time, pairing this with attack speed applies it more. devourer applies more magic damage on hit that scales throughout the game, and wits makes you tanky against magic damage and decreases their MR and does more magic damage on hit.

once they start building MR against you, you have bork built, which has the equal and inverse quality of your w active. physical instead of magic, %current instead of % missing. also some decent sustain.

after this you have enough damage to instagib tanks who are ulted, and any squishy with no need to ult. so you build defensive.

Curious; does he do better than Jungle Diana? He seems to be a much weaker, by just looking at all of the stats and the way all of his stuff works together. I am going to try this tomorrow, but do you recommend this jung Fizz over a similar type of jungler; Diana?

diana has a weak early clear and a big need to perform well early. fizz has an easy clear, and can afk farm both jungles if he wants to. dont forget that jungle monsters have high health and his w active has no damage cap on monsters and minions like similar % damage types, and also performs on hit so it scales with AS extremely well

for easiest early clear make sure and get 29% AS in masteries and clear 5 camps np 1st out

I wanna try this out too! Have you considered Utility masteries for better roaming and jungle sustain? Seems like it'd be really good for him. In particular, 10% cdr from masteries and another 20% from the Magus enchantment rushed makes for stupidly good roaming and his shark would be up like all the time. The only think I've tried util masteries on so far this season is Ziggs but I think if it could work well for him it could work on Fizz.

Have any thoughts on that? Do you have any trouble ganking early or surviving in the jungle early on? Do you have to recall often? Super curious

sustain in the jungle isnt needed, you can clear 5 camps before first b with ease, and after that you will hardly lose health in the jungle because of your fast clear. i usually buy a total of 5 potions and often sell 1. CDR is OK, but i dont prioritize it.

i wouldnt get magus, or any AP items. he simply doesnt scale that well with AP anymore... especially in the jungle.

ganks are never an issue, even if all the lanes are pushed i can usually get a dive in. activate w, q in, AA a few times, E to juggle tower agro if they arnt dead yet, AA a couple times, flash out.

if lanes are stalling, ganks are a breeze. with flash E and q there isnt a champ in the game outside of leblanc that can escape, even if they see you coming.

i use AS marks and quints. flat armor flat mr. scaling MR could work too.

Just tried the build; you can't teamfight for shit. You have amazing 1v1 potential, but you are just too useless if they know how to stay in at least pairs. You get a single kill, but you give up a kill also, which dying is much worse than killing is good.

Maybe it works for your games, but I can't seem to approve it. It is just not practical for a team game.

mid-late game in team fights you should be playing like an assassin and/or split-pushing with all the gold and stacks you earned from farming and ganking.

the downfalls you listed are the same downfalls of playing any fighter or assassin who isn't ahead by a margin. with fizz and the amazing early game potential, it should be a lot easier than most champions with similar skill sets to get ahead.

even in team fights with fizz you have potential outplay options after an assassination to stay alive or get more kills, often with very little effort necessary... staying on your troll poll for the maximum time is often enough to give the front line some time to catch up to the enemies back line with you
