"We think the game needs a certain amount of unpredictability"
if this is true bring back dodge, and miss chance,
why are you lying? you don't want RNG, but you also want to buff ADC by reaching 100% crit chance.

Crit Chance now comes in chunks of 20% or more on completed items.
1/5 chance is less random than 1/7 or 1/10.
That's less RNG.
that´s really not the point. there´s no such thing as "less RNG" (and not only because RNG is actually an acronym) - it´s more of a more fundamental issue if luck should have influence on the outcome of the game or not. And if it should influence the match than you might aswell go all the way and put dodge back in (+make spellcrit a thing) - while if you´d rather see luck not influencing things then it doesn´t matter if it´s "less RNG", because there should be no RNG involved in the first place.

Yes, there is such a thing as "less RNG." Having an effect trigger about once every three interactions is less random than ten times every thirty interactions. The variables are lower, thus it is less random and there are fewer numbers generated. It is both literally and functionally "less RNG."
And saying the game needs a certain amount of unpredictability does not mean that Riot wants their own version of fucking Chaos Knight. They'd rather roll a d6 over a pair of d10s, because it still has the element of randomness, but it reduces the randomness to 1 in 3 instead of 33 in 100.

That's less RNG.
less RNG and more power
less RNG and more power
More consistent power, not strictly more power than it is now.
How is it lying? If your quote is not a paraphrase the key part of it is "certain amount". Dodge and miss chance would be over that amount.
It's also possible RNG in defense is not something they feel they can properly balance. RNG in offense, on the other hand, might be far easier for them to manage.
You never give Riot any slack, do you? They are humans, just like you and I. They make mistakes, and carry mistaken beliefs just like the rest of us. It's like you expect them to perfectly follow the perfect opinion of the community at all times, rather than follow their own opinions when working on their own work.
How is buffing ADC crit chance to 100% NOT eliminating RNG?
By definition, if every attack is a crit, there is no RNG. There's no chance that you fail to crit. It's guaranteed.

it does, until they have 100%. and it also buffs them BY A LOT. they could just normalize crit, by making it % damage increase. ADC would have +40% or +50/60% damage increase not 100%
