Just want some opinions on this. I personally think it should, but I'm wondering if anyone else thinks she should? Do you think she's made to be without defense? Or should she be able to be outdamaged with Thornmail? I mean, if you can't outdamage her you're going to die, but I think Thornmail would tip the scales a little. What are others opinions on this?
Lord Dusteon2 votesThornmail specifically states " On being hit by basic attacks, returns 30% of damage, before any reductions such as armor, as magic damage.". Vayne's W does not add autoattack damage (though her Q does), it adds a proc on the 3rd consecutive spell/autoattack that does bonus true damage.
Basically, Thornmail reflects basic attacks and on hits. Vayne's W is not an on hit or autoattack, and thus is not in anyway effected by Thornmail. Which is how it should be, as making the anti-autoattack item also for some reason reflect non autoattacks is stupid.

Sightless661 votesNot really. It's ability damage that doesn't modify autoattacks. Not really fair for thornmail to proc on it. If she needed a nerf, I think other options would be much better.
