What is with this damn ranked system?

I was at 13 LP, lost 15 LP, I've been gaining 21 LP so I'm assuming I have positive MMR, and the thing just instantly demotes me and puts me to Gold IV 75 LP, so not only did I lose the 13 LP I had before, I lost another 25 on top of it... what? I lost 2 games in a row, that's it, and I wasn't even at 0 LP...

Riot? WTF is your stupid system anyway? It's so hard to climb when you don't get consistently good teammates, barely get rewarded at all for winning, and punished for a total of -38 LP on a loss when you aren't even at the bottom of the division? This is why people hate this system. It all seems so arbitrary.

One game can't drop you below 0 lp.
