the system and the LP gain and loss for both sides is equal...

if the enemy had an afk or a feeder or whatever adn they lost a 4 vs 5 they lose lp too...

and over the course of a rank season it balances out cuz it effects every one

if he was found guilty then that means there to atleast what 10 people means there was evidence beyond a reasonable doubt.

you can't even apply that to leauge because there is no way for the system to be able to help you.

if riot gave back LP to afk games, then people would just abuse that system to elo boost. so its not happening.

Logic wouldn't stop there. It would go on and realise OP is saying "I shouldn't lose LP from a game I've lost unfairly due to a teamate being straight up absent for whatever reason".

Whether or not I support OP is irrelevant but it's easy to see their point.

because you also get LP when the enemies have an afk.

Because if Riot let you keep your LP for that then players could abuse the system by using dodges on alt or duo-ed accounts in order to avoid losing LP for matches that were likely to be lost anyway.

Also because if players thought they could avoid losing LP by other players leaving the game then they would behave more toxically towards one another in an attempt to make somebody else leave.

My second to last game last night, our top laner, Tryndamere, bought Boots of Mobility. He just ran down the lanes into the enemy team and died over and over again. While I considered him a bot, at first, he typed, "lol I feel like i have to int" after the 6th death. Will he be punished? Probably not. I still lose LP and nobody with authority cares. Welcome to League of Legends.

The reason that isnt implemented is because it would just feed trolls and allow loop holes like leaving games when your about to lose to keep all of your LP, not gonna lie i would abuse it aswell.

It was still possible to win that game, despite it being unlikely Riot reads it as both teams have the same afk rate, so you will be losing the same amount of lp as you will gain in future games where the enemy team has a dc at 5 minutes
