What tank top can protect the team/adc at 6 items?

As no one responded to the exact same thread I am reposting.

For example, malphite can ult the enemy team and slow AS, which is crucial late game. Maokai can give his team more sustain with ult. Hec has has a huge displacement that can scatter an enemy team. The new tahm could eat a tank so the enemy team does not have a good front line. Who do you guys think is the best protector at full build? Remember, you are the tank and not necessarily the damage dealer but I guess you can take dps into consideration if you want.

tahm kench can also eat an ally adc if they are getting targeted. Alistar is also good at protecting his team. Maokai has pretty good peel too.

Braum is the best answer

Full build alistar or Shen.. Sion also if you know how to play him.

I'm a big fan of using Shen to peel. His ult at 6 items is almost impossible to break though and coming in on the target that usually is receiving all of the damage means you can easily get 2-3 people taunted up to let them get out of the situation. Almost impossible to kill as well.

Sion's good if you don't really initiate with your ult, and rather use it smash an assassin / carry into a wall when they try to dive you.

Also his armor shred on E can really help drop potential threats faster.

I've been playing Galio top when I get a good match-up. Catch a few squishies in the ult and the teamfight should snowball in your favor.

Tahm is easily the best single-target protector since he can eat someone in danger.

It's hard to say who's the best team protector. Is Nunu a great team protector because he can prevent their team from ever reaching your ranged members?

In terms of pure raw mitigation, though, I'd have to go with Maokai. Taric's not bad either against specific compositions.

In regards to just protecting someone, Garen does fine at ensuring 1 person does nothing assuming you know how to play Garen. Silence prevents them from doing anything, and by the time it's over both Garen and the carry should have them either dead or low enough for Garen to execute with ult.

If more than 2 people are trying to dive then Gnar when in melee form works, so does Zac as they both can cc multiple targets.
