Lux or Orianna?

Just wondering,

who's more rewarding once mastered? Lux is really skillshot reliant, but a good orianna can zone really well with her ball & deny farm. I wanna dedicate myself to one of these champions, but irdk. Ori or Lux?

lux can be counter picked easily (zed, fizz, talon), orianna can do well in every matchup. Ori is the most versatile midlaner (if you dont count azir because he is garbage) and fits well into all teamcomps.

i might be a bit biased because i play a lot of engage/dive champs but ori's always felt better to have on my team

Jokes aside it depends on prefference and playstyle, Lux has her long ult and is skillshot based, while Oriana is great at zoning and an amazing ult which is great for team matchups.

I presonally went for Lux because she plays like a normal champ, unlike Oruana who has a unique playstyle focused around the ball instead of you. I still want to pick Oriana up later on though, her playstyle looks hella fun ^^

Lux please. I love Orianna and basically only plays her, but ori mains are annoying, and I cant wait for people to stop playing her :^)

It really depends on what you want to do, lux and orianna both specialize in single target burst aswell as AoE burst, zoning and lanephase-farmdenial, both have great synergy in teamfights due to pretty reliant cc and have a slight shield that can assist teammates.

HOWEVER, there are sligh differences. Lux is a lot stronger in farm and pushdenial because her ult can be effectively used to snipe an entire lane clear, while orianna has stronger focus in teamfight due to being able to 5 man-disposition which gives opportunity to some seriously sick wombos and Plays. Both are easy to pick up but fairly hard to master, but it really depends on what you prefer more. a stronger offense or a stronger defence. Take orianna if you want to go more offensive and win the teamfights, and take lux if you want to be a stronger factor at defence and splitpush denial.

both of These champs are nearly identical in their General uses, you Need to choose for yourself where you set the differences and how, but my personal guess (and vote) go to orianna because earlygame with her feels a bit easier because of her passive

Lux is more rewarding in a solo environment. Ori in a team environment.

Lux's skillset allows her to make her own calls and set up her own combos as she sees fit. You wait for an opening and take advantage, with or without your team. She's also great for dragon, baron, and herald steals at a safe distance.

Ori unfortunately, gains a LOT of power from her team and communication. Having a teammate that understands your ball and it's uses increases Ori's threat level significantly and can easily ensure victories in fights.

Both are really strong, and I'd encourage you to pick both up.

Lux is most rewarding on a personal level for me, because of how much she can do alone and the need to grow a lot of different skills to make it work. Ori is more rewarding in power, because she's significantly stronger and brings more pressure to your team, especially in engagements.
