160 CS is horrible for a 40 minute game when it comes to looking for an S ratings. I'm not the least bit surprised you didn't get an S.
A good game for me that runs for 40 minutes, I can have 250-300 CS on my mains champs. I currently have 4 champs at level 7. All of them have one thing in common, I typically have really high CS counts on them. I have almost never get any kind of S rating with low farm counts. Only exceptions are rare games where I get stupid fed. I'm talking scores like 29-2-20. You KDA has to be ridiculously high if you want S ratings on that alone.
Yes but Comparatively to most Karthus bots, which is almost nonexistent, it couldn't have been that low percentile. And my KDA was ridiculously high.
You aren't being compared to his performance, you're being compared to other Karthus players in the same role.
I know but like, that's what confuses me. I was Karthus bot. Which implies Karthus bot players do better than this on at least a semi-regular basis.
tbh I don't think it matters about the kills that you get as Karthus...
for Karthus, CS matters almost over everything else. I know, I hate it too since I'm missing only 1 S rank to get Level 7 mastery on him :/
Yeah, sometimes the performance is crazy high because people don't know how to handle it. However, what you're missing is probably just some CS or vision and objective control. KDA only does so much for your score and can't replace the need for performance in other aspects of the game.
Your friend was Camille support. SUPPORT, 10 kills 19 assists and 100 cs is enough to get an s on Camille support and deaths matter less as a support, and Karthis players usually have 200-300+cs in a game
Dude, for a 40 mins game 160 CS is absolutely awful. 160 CS is what you'd be expected at 20 minutes (80% rate), at 40 mins 160 CS is less than 40% CS rate. The support Camile has almost as much CS as you, no wonder she got an S. It has nothing to do with your KDAs.
I see everyone keep saying that, but that's more of the fault of the game than anything else. Because how bad boy lost they kinda just ran in it down mid and ended the laning phase early. Most of the game was objective pushing and teamfighting. And even if the CS wasn't great, that shouldn't eliminate the effect of everything else I did that game.
I saw someone go 1/6/7 and still get an S. Even if it's NOT just KDA, I peeled for carries, I dropped wards in key points almost on cooldown, and helped take every bot tower, two mid, and an inhibitor, and every dragon we got.
All of that should count for something, and frankly, it should count more than CS in a game where we trounced them for the most part.
CS is actually pretty poor, and Camille AD carry isn't really played much so even if the score wasn't entirely that good, he still did better than most players playing Camille AD carry.
