What counts as "Periodic Damage?"

Poison is periodic damage. So would item 3068 count a periodic damage?

Cause Teemo's new stealth breaks when you deal "non-periodic damage" but sunfire breaks his stealth.

anything that when it hits an opponent once continues to do damage for a period of time. Sunfire is not that because it doesnt work that way, instead it occasionally (one could use the word periodically but in this case it would be misused as a game term) does a burst of aoe damage from you.

In other words, if sunfire cape hits an enemy once it doesnt continue to do damage, it just continuously does damage by constantly hitting them. Thus its not periodic damage any more than auto attacks are.

Plus, theres no way theyre bringing back stealth sunfires. And even if they did youd be visible long before you were in sunfire range anyway since hes not invisible anymore.
