Urgot's Ult Fails Across the Board

When Urgot came out, this was a creative and fun-to-use ultimate. Now, it just lacks in comparison to those of opposing Mid laners and AD Carries.

It's like a Malzahar Ult without damage, and with a small opening to actually outplay people.

Not only that, but thematically it makes no sense. An undead executioner has a teleport device as an ult because... why?

Don't get me wrong, it's not terrible, but it really isn't all that great - you can suppress one of their team members in a fight, but then you have to jump into their team in order to send them back into your own team.

Maybe you could make some sort of execute (since that's essentially what he was in life - an executioner), or maybe something else. What do you guys think?

EDIT: Guys, I know some of you like the ult, and I don't really mind it either, but I'm just saying that for an executioner's ultimate, it doesn't really make a whole lot of sense. I appreciate the feedback, and there were some good points, like "He's a Hextech zombie executioner, so thematically he should have some random tools". I agree, but I just think some small changes could be added, like make it deal a bit of damage at the end of the ultimate, and nerf his sort of bull shit passive. Even so, the "What do you guys think" was sort of a calling to ask you guys what they could do to make it a bit more intriguing to the people like me, who don't play him as often. Ergo, I was hoping for more feedback than just downvotes without explanation., but okay.

Personally, I love it. It's just so...random and weird, but it works. It's great 1 on 1, because it puts a duel in your favor and is a great counter ult to the likes of Zed and Katarina. Ult+Exhaust+passive makes you a bitch to kill. The displacement has limited use outside of the lane phase as it puts you in danger, but the suppress/displacement can put an adc in a real bad spot.

It could be axed for some %max hp true damage execute ult or a fancy dash with a heal, but it's so unique it'd be a shame to get rid of it if you ask me.

Urgot doesn't have the greatest lane phase, and sometimes that gets to peoples heads and think they can tower dive you, and ulting under tower alone makes me satisfied I picked Urgot

Been playing Urgot since Season 3. It's one of my favorite ults in the game by far.

First of all, the ult provides you more armor than thornmail and more MR than Spirit Visage at level 16, and for a pretty freaking long time too. Basically, this makes him an absurd "Screw Carries" pocket pick. This allows him to build high amounts of Armor and do the 1v4 dive and still get out with flash while your team murders the poor sap who you ulted. In 1v1 situations, it let's you duel ANYBODY since you're also reducing their overall dps by 15% thanks to your "balanced" passive. Plus, you don't have to use it just for 1v4 dives. It's great at making picks, turret dives, and gank secures.

Thematically, yeah I guess it doesn't make much sense for a zombie executioner. But Urgot isn't just a zombie executioner. He's a Hextech Zombie Executioner, with mad scientist gadgets duck taped onto his magnificent visage. Energy force fields, semi-automatic heat seeking missiles, and short range teleportation swaps honestly fit his thematic by being consistent.

I weep for the day my Urgod will be reworked. But when that day comes, I will welcome him with open arms.
