How do SABC rankings work post game?

I just got an S- dicking around as support ryze, 7/10/14, 42cs, wards placed ect. I've played games as thresh as well where I'd have 20 - 30 assists and barely get an A - B normally with a good amount of warding, less cs, and less kills. How does that shit work i want my S's :(

Your grade is split between how well you do relative to everyone else in the game you're playing, and how you compare to other players playing your same champion in that role.

Your Ryze support game for example is skewed extremely in your favor since virtually nobody plays support Ryze and those who do were probably picking around even more than you.

Thresh on the other hand has a loooooooot of people doing quite well on him. Furthermore, 20-30 assists? It's not hard to imagine your teammates being hyper fed as well, and they get a high grade. As you are getting compared to all Thresh Support players AND all of your teammates and enemies, both were probably just stacking up to put you just below a top performer in that game and as a Thresh Support in general.

It compares to the average Ryze player. I get B+'s for going 1/2/15 as Bard, but I get S+ for doing like, 4/2/17.

If your score is better than the average for that champion, you get a better grade.

For support champions it's harder cause you can get so much assists per game. =p

Just participate in everything you possibly can. If you get at least an assist on all the objectives you should get a very high rating. If your kill contribution and objective contribution are low, you will almost certainly not S-rank, even if you have a monster kda.
