What happens if we demand riot to gather statistics?

What if we demand riot to put up two simple yes or no answer across reddit, the boards, and the client.

"Do you wish to keep dynamic queue?"

"Do you know the difference between dynamic queue and new champion select?"

U cant demand anything. U can request. They can deny. Dont u understand? This isnt government. There is no "constitution" here. Or laws. Or democracy. Or voting. This is private owned business, Riot makes all decisions and their decisions are final. They said that dynamic queue stays. Thats end of discussion. No matter how many threads people make. No matter how many reddit posts people make. No matter how many videos people make. Dynamic queue is better for their business. And thats it.

OK then this game can continue going to shit and riot will go bankrupt because they are a one game company who doesn't listen to their playerbase.

I'm perfectly fine with it because in the end I see people like you weeping about their favorite game ending.

They will not go bankrupt. Dont u get it? There are millions who prefer to play with friends. Who will bring even more friends. You think Riot will do something that harms their profits? There have been "doomsayers" saying same thing for years now. League can go for 10+ more years without going bankrupt.

OK keep thinking that

Perhaps not bankrupt, but they will be losing revenue quite substantially compared to previous quarters. It is already evident the player base has declined as queue times across the board have increased slightly, within the past few weeks.

What do you have to backup those claims? its not sub based game so people would unsubscribe. Every time they release skin there is hype. You think they will lose revenue? Can u imagine money they will get if they release Ultimate Zed, Yasuo, Ahri, Azir, Lee, Katarina or any other highly popular champion skin? Hell, Darkstar Thresh got disabled and people forgot about Dynamic queue. They are opening threads about Thresh skin. Thresh is freakin support, not many even play him. And yet there are so many threads about that skin. Dynamic queue will bring them more profit. It will encourage people to bring friends and play with them. Most games nowadays use Dynamic Queue system. Even Overwatch uses it:

From Jeff Kaplan's interview : http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2016-06-07-overwatch-blizzard-answers-the-big-questions. Yeah, we're going to go out the gate with what we call a 'dynamic queue'. This is what we use for quick play right now, meaning you can queue in any size that you want. So if you want to queue by yourself, or if you want to queue with two people, or three, four, five, six, the system will allow you to do that.

Dynamic queue is future of multiplayer gaming. League knows it. Ye sure, there are complaints now. In a year time, there will be more players, League will grow even more. Visit internet/gaming caffe from time to time. U will see tons of kids playing with their friends.

There is no backup, however there is secondary data that supports my claims. Have you recently been looking at the internet cafe % of games played? League is close to losing out to overwatch. While this may not be a direct source of data that you were looking for, it does suggest that riot is losing players. Queue times increasing suddenly in the past few weeks is another indicator. While many still hold this game dear to them, the game is dying. Much like WoW and runescape have done, they made a decision that has upset a portion of there community and it came to bite them in the ass. Did those games die? no, but they sure as hell aren't the kings they were in the past.

Overwatch hype still lasts. Of course people gonna play it a bit more now, its novelty. You mention WOW? Even with people losing interest in MMORPGs WOW still maintains high population. On release of WOD it spiked to over 10 million. New expansion is coming. It will happen again. So yes. WOW is still king of MMORPG. League is still king of MOBAs.

I for one, would prefer to keep dynamic queue over soloqueue. Nothing tilted me more than not being able to queue up with my friends when we had more than 2 and less than 5.

Not really. That's just crap many spout to defend their own agendas. Rather than decrease, it actually has an increase in playership. Also, for every player that goes away, there are tons more coming in. Not only that, the professional side of things gives them more than enough money and the skins get bought more and more, so no, they are never gonna go bankrupt. Heck, regular players do nothing to help them in revenue. The skin buyers continue to play a lot and most of the "I'm going to Overwatch" guys have nothing to do with Riot's revenue. Not only that, DQ allows casuals to come in easier, bringing more players to the game. Also, when Solo Queue existed, people complained about the queue times and there were lots more trolls. To top it off, the pros quit DQ because they can't find adequate matches like in Ranked 5v5s. With no ranked teams, they had to make their own server. Solo Queue had nothing to do with it.
