@Riot - Why Do Champions With 0 CC Exist?

There aren't that many of them in the game, but seriously. ZERO crowd control. Not even a slow. I'm half tempted to put Zed on the list because his slow is so hard to pull off, but I'll leave it there because we're talking none.

In some cases I can understand it. Katarina has a lot of in-combat mobility, Sivir has her ultimate that gives her a giant amount of utility. But when Nidalee was reworked Riot specifically stated that they considered whether she should have crowd control added to her kit or not and decided that it was part of her thematic to just not have CC. So what is the value in no crowd control?

For one, it means you have far fewer options when you're behind. This is a team game. When I see someone pick Ezreal or Zed or old Evelynn I just groan and think "why?!" That player is choosing to put the weight of their failure on the rest of the team's back. If Annie falls behind, she has an AOE stun. If Sion falls behind, he has his ultimate. If Ezreal falls behind...well, he can poke for a bit of damage and not wave clear? Yay?

What is the point, Riot? Why do these champions have no options? Why is that burden placed on the other four players in their team?

That's called "feast or famine" and you have to understand it's risky picking these champions You are either over-fed and can 1v9 the game, or completely destroyed, ending up useless until late game ( MasterYi this piece of shit being the exception)

Most of those champs I think have good enough fallback patterns due to mobility and/or safety.

Morde historically has always been impossible to balance because he literally has nothing but damage. He should have CC.

It's all part of "Strategic Diversity," my friend. They exist because they are strategically interesting to include in the game. If they weren't here, we'd have the inverse of this thread, titled "Why does every single champion in this game have CC?" And the body text would argue that we should have at least a few assassins with no cc.

So ez is useless when behind cause he has no cc,just a shit ton of range he can safely poke from,but Twitch is somehow useful cause of his little aoe slow,or Vayne cause of her knockback Most of the champs today have so many jumps and dashes that anything other than a hard cc doesnt do much

No it's not that champs like these are without cc that is the problem - it's when you pick melee assassins (e.g. Nidalee ) and you have one of these on the enemy team.

Point-and-click CC is cancer and completely unfun to play against.
