Yasuo ult dmg still apply even when he got cc'd, pushed away or when gp orange'd away.

Yasuo doesn't get invulnerability nor he is cc immune during his R. So why when he gets knocked away during animation the dmg still apply? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Fp47bOWQ5I&feature=youtu.be&t=9m25s

Why when he ults Gankplank and he W'd the dmg is instant and animation gets cancelled? It literally helps Yasuo as he gets self-suspended less.

It's enought that his R position him outside of enemy turret, gets armor pen, and full passive shield which can be over 500 in late game. We also can't counterplay his R?

When other champs like Jhin, Malza or Xerath use their ult and must stay in place they are fully vulnerable and their R can be interrupted. Why Yasuo is an exception?

In my opinion Riot should change some aspects of his R rather than nerfing his numbers or he really may end up permabanned.

Well, lux ult looks like a channel but still apply damages even if she's knocked out

Well yes, but it's only her who is locked in place when ulting. Yasuo can suspends whole enemy team

No he only suspends knocked up targets. He also suspends himself too.

and if the entire team is knocked up... he can suspend them all. SURPRISE.

If your entire team gets hit by a knockup yall fucked up pretty hard

How come if I qss out of malz ult I still take damage until I break the tether which is like 550 range?

Lux doesnt channel her ult. It has a long cast time. The only way to stop Lux or Ezreal ult is to kill them.

This just proves you know nothing.

This just proves you know nothing.

At which point your brain changed :

Well, lux ult looks like a channel

to :

"Well, lux ult is a channel".

This just proves you can't read.

Yasuo animation has 3 slashes. I suggest make his R dmg be dealed in 3 parts. 1/3 with every slash of animation AND make it possible to interrupt it with hard CC. BOOM half of Yasuo complains would be gone

Divewing1 votes

No one who complains about Yasuo lists how his ultimate deals it's damage as their most hated thing

Jax's jump acts the same way and has for years where if he starts the animation and is cc'd during it the animation stops but when he would have landed the damage will still be applied

So it should be changed too. Riot says all the time how they value clarity but do nothing to things like these

Yasuo ult isn't a channel.

This isn't an isolated case, Ez ult and Lux ult will still fire from the original casting location, even if they are displaced.

Why when he ults Gankplank and he W'd the dmg is instant and animation gets cancelled? It literally helps Yasuo as he gets self-suspended less.

GP ult doesn't cancel damage, only CC. Yasuo is still stuck in the ult animation while GP is free to do whatever, even if the damage still goes through.

When other champs like Jhin, Malza or Xerath use their ult and must stay in place they are fully vulnerable and their R can be interrupted. Why Yasuo is an exception?

It's almost like Jhin, Malz, and Xerath are different champions with different kits that are meant to do different things.

Why does garen still kill you with his ult if you flashed? because he can :'3 those champs root themselves. Yasuo isn't rooted you can lulu ult during his ult or zilean ult the damage will still be applied, but the lulu ult will knock him up it's canceling the animation not the damage. that your seeing. besides those champs skill sets are nothing like yasuo's

ThePikol2 votes

Ok, so Yasuo ult is apparently point and click? Like Garn or Syndra? In that way it would make sense the dmg still goes. But Riot values clarity in game and his R looks like it should be able to interrupt, a channel.

Starcraft243ver1 votes

Nope.

Yasuo is an exception because his ult could be off cool down for 30 minutes and he would still be unable to use UNLESS SOMEONE IS KNOCKED UP.

It has an animation for its CROWD CONTROL, not its damage.

I've seen some stupid Yasuo complaints but for the most part the reasoning could be understood. This is flat out lack of knowledge of basic game functions

ThePikol5 votes

He has his own knock up ability. If he can't land it he should be punished with "30 minutes of cooldown" as you say.

It's not slower nor more telegraphed than other projectiles in game. Don't try to sound like Yasuo needs more to be viable than others

GULAG 4 U1 votes

No it is much slower than most skillshots excluding things such as morgana/nidaspear.

Except it's a slow and telegraphed projectile. It's hard not to miss.

You do realize he can combo it with his E, right? I'm asking this seriously. If you don't know that he can do that, you shouldn't be clicking on Yasuo threads.
