Jhin's been good since patch release. So what?

He was only debatably overpowered near initial release which soon got nerfed into a balanced state. Nerfing doesn't always have to gut a champion. He was and is still very strong, but has clear strengths, weaknesses, and ways to outplay him. Strong =/= overpowered.

Also, most of the other ADCs are fairly bad right now in a meta where either only the ones with extremely high team-wide damage potential (MF ult blitzing, Twitch flank and ult wiping, etc) or those with utility (Jhin root/slow/traps/trap vision, Varus slow/ult and virus spread potential, etc) are worth playing.

So of course Jhin would be one of the few to stand out. He's not the only one to stand out by any means.

Also, Jhin's been abusing flat armor penetration pretty much from the start of his existence which got changed to Lethality later. So of course he'd be good since near release if he's been abusing the same toxic mechanic for that long.

Flat armorpen was even stronger in early compared to Lethality, meaning Jhin would have been even stronger then.

Lethality is weaker in early but even more disgusting in late, and the 60% immediate flat benefit is still enough to murder just about any squishy (read: enemy botlane) in early.

For the brief period Lethality was fairly bad (40% flat), Jhin simply added crit into his build to make up for it (shifting out Dusk and sometimes Edge for RFC and IE and the like).

If you look at any game where Jhin does end up building purely crit, he is perfectly fine to deal with.

If you look at any game where he starts building Lethality instead, he isn't fine to deal with.

Guess what? Surprise, this applies to almost every other single AD champion that abuses Lethality. Jhin's not special in this regard. So why suddenly start hating on Jhin for doing what others do even better?

Current form of lethality is stronger than old armor pen considering there is so much more available Lethality was only weaker before the buff

Oh, I forgot to address that.

Lethality is only weaker in early point by point. But the buff in Lethality numbers effectively nullifies that.

Ghostblade used to be 10 flat armorpen if I remember correctly. Now it's 20 (soon becoming 15), which when used with Lethality which now gives 60% as flat immediately, is 12 and 9 respectively, meaning there's almost no loss either way.

Thank you for reminding me.

When making the transition over from flat pen to lethality, Riot increased the amount of flat pen(now lethality) on all items except ghostblade, which was, and currently is at 20

GB was always 20 flat pen You might be thinking of Dirk or brutalizer
