Glass cannons break when you hit them with something hard
For some reason a fair number of the "hard items" in league were changed into feather dusters.

Hinagiku331 votes actually feels pretty good. Using Tiamat's active to reset Akali's auto-attack also lets her get both of her passive procs off quickly. The Sheen proc from Triforce is also nice since Akali already uses Q > AA as part of her combo and can AA after an E for a second Sheen proc if needed.
Pretty sure AP glass cannon is still better overall, but if you can't stand exploding instantly yourself while your targets get to live 5-6 seconds at least then you can always tank up.
