If we use the Boards as source the most hated are adcs, then enchanters, then supps in general and only then tanks. Imo that's what I see on the Boards.

And assasins hate also never disappears at all, sometimes is hidden because ppl is complaining about adcs or junglers but someday the hate to assasins return.

Which leads into the least hated classses imo: Fighters (in general) and Mages.

.

Imo the class I hate the most are Fighters/Bruisers because they want to be full dmg while also being tank enough to not die. They also tend to believe that the split pushers who are the best 1vs1 champs in the game should aswell be strong on teamfights and it leads to them hating the supps that peel for the adc and tanks that cc's them. Plus obviously the adc that deals the dmg.

I don't believe you're wrong here. There's a lot of people that want to push their class champion to do something they aren't suppose to do or not do well but I guess it's not for me to judge.

Yup, that's similar as the adcs that are caught alone by an assasin and think that assasins don't have counterplay becuse 99% of the times the assasin kills them.

The role that i hate the most. Well its either assassin or marksmen. Actually screw it, i hate them both equally.

Assassins: their design is so damn FRUSTRATING. Since their only job is to kill someone in a split second, they end up feeling unbearable. Also, they are designed to be very strong both in early and mid game, and while late game their effectiveness kinda falls of thanks to grouping, they still dish out shittons of damage in miliseconds. Their core items are also relatively cheap, so they gain their powerspikes quickly. Their core gameplay needs to be changed. I dont care how but it needs to go. Having to turret hug just because you dont want them to snowball is extremely annoying.

Marksmen: Oh boy, their design is kinda weird. They are supposed to be dealing sustained damage, yet after a couple of items they are starting to be dealing burst per second. Compared to melee carries and ap carries, they end up being able to outdamage both while also having more reliable way to deal damage (melee carries need to be melee and ap carries usually have skillshots or resources to manage cds included). They also have access to some of the best items (relative to their users ofc). If that wasnt enough even if you do manage to damage them, and they find you a threat and they cant evade you, they can simply buy lifesteal items and draintank to win. One of the worst feelings as xerath main is, when the enemy adc buys lifesteal. There goes all of your poke. And burst. And your life. It sucks big ass. Even gw sometimes feel not enough. Oh and ofc how could i forget, they also snowball extremely well.

I actually really agree with the majority that you mentioned, the problem I can say about ADC's from my point of view it's not the Marksman themselves that are strong, but Critical Strike just being one of the strongest stats in the game. As for the lifesteal, I know it sucks but that's the part of Marksman that is suppose to be there above all things in fact.

But the changes to Critical Strike items on PBE are both a nerf and a buff of some sorts. I'm just glad that it takes some time for them to scale now. Instead of buying Infinity Edge and Statik Shiv and having them say "look here's 50% hp gone".

I think these changes are somewhat for the better, or atleast I hope they are.

Critical strike is indeed strong. But what makes them deal burst per second its not critical. Its the fact that can pump out a lot of attacks coupled with high attack damage plus their steroids. If im not wrong, every adc has a steroid of some form. Melee carries sometimes have and ap carries usually have not.

I know it sucks but that's the part of Marksman that is suppose to be there above all things in fact.''

Im not really sure i understood that correctly.

Eh the changes arent that great. As long as they can attack with 2.0 atk speed then even 250 damage is going to add up.

I meant that they are suppose to deal consistent DPS as well as having the ability to sustain with Lifesteal in a greater way than others. But that's something that not something that I can say for burst damage that Critical Strike gives them.

Why people hate tanks: because they are (similar to supports) champions that say “no” to what you do. It’s like playing against Blue Control against magic, you’re not gonna have fun. Tanks get more hate because they more easily step on fighter toes.

Marksmen: honestly it’s because of how much focus and importance is put on them imo.

Supports: see tanks but without the fighter problem.

Assassins, Mages, and fighters: imo, protagonist syndrome. These are the kind of characters and classes that generally attract more people because they’re more solo oriented and ergo show more “skill” when successful.

That’s my thought.

Yeah that's what I thought as well, thanks for your insight on this.

Here is my opinion. Use your imagination based on these dialogues.

Marksman: "I NEED TO GET FED, DON'T TAKE MY CS, DON'T TAKE MY KILLS, I WILL CARRY YOU ALL THANK ME LATER. OH I AM GETTING FOCUSED WAHHHHH!" *Dishes out item 3078 tons of damage item 3078 *

Tanks: "I am invincible, just try me." - Enemy Vayne has slain Ally Sion -

Supports: "Hey, I will help my teammates by getting redemption and heal everyone as well as being a nuisance to the enemy team who try to get our carries."

Mages: "Sup bot lane, ready to fight? I have all the utilities I need to do all the damage. Doesn't matter who gets the kill, as long as our enemies are dead, I am happy."

Fighters: "I like to duel, a lot. If a jungler comes, that's either my fault or my jungler's fault for not counterganking, mainly both. I dish a lot of damage as well as being a wall with spikes to anyone squishy unwise enough to approach me."

Assassins: "Fuck you Tanks and Supports for trying to oppose my job. Fuck mages for item 3157. Fuck Fighters for doing damage as well as moderately tanky so I couldn't kill them. Oh well, I guess it's just killing Marksman I guess oh shit... that Lulu popped my item 3814 and polymorph me... Guess I sit here and DIE. Guess I will just wait until they make a mistake... PLZ END THIS GAME!!! PLS!!!! [sg-soraka] "

But not all people are the same, that's quite an assumption that a lot of players make and that's quite unfair for anyone who actually tries to be respectful regardless of their main role.

the ones who are not enjoying the game will be the most vocal. people who are satisfied with the game's state don't feel the need to post on the boards.

people hate ADCs and tanks because they are perceived to be too good by the people whose champions are not meta right now

people hate supports because they BREAK ADCs and are the ones who deserve the hate that is being channeled into ADCs

people don't necessarily love assassins, fighters, or mages. it's just that the assasin, fighter, and mage players are the ones complaining, because they're the champions that are not best in the most recent meta/have been recently nerfed

My most hated class is Assassins, with double hate to stealth based assassins, mostly because I find dealing with burst damage that explodes out of nowhere incredibly frustrating and toxic to play against. Nothing tilts me in this game more than not being able to play at all because anytime I leave base, somebody jumps me and insta-kills me before I can reasonably fight back. Assassin's existence proves to me that Riot doesn't think hard enough about the play experience of being on the receiving end of their characters.

It depends on the patch/season/meta. Take the juggernaut rework... darius was kinda broken. Too much damage for how durable he was or one could alternatively say too much durability for how much damage he had.

Galio rework and re-balance: too durable yet insane burst damage too and easy waveclear. Then got harshly nerfed probably a bit too far.

Ardent censer - was in an ok spot, then the buffed it so we's see more enchanter supports at world's (even though they were perfectly viable in pro play and seen some before that). Which led to adc's filling in as machine gun turrets. Standing there tanking 5 enemy's burst damage and mowing them down without getting bursted.

The issue is when there's not really valid counterplay or it requires you to be so high elo and/or so coordinated that you basically have to be master tier or higher or on a pro team to pull it off.

There's been an overabundance of power to adc's and to peeling comps for awhile now. Engage comps weren't rewarded enough for properly engaging unless they had a significant lead going into the fight - leading to whichever team better peeled for their adc winning the fight - rather than a team being rewarded for better engaging on the enemy carries. At other times in other patches/seasons the opposite has been true.

I would say it's when something (class or champion) becomes so strong that it can win against better skilled (and execution) opponent(s) purely because of the champ or class. That's when you know something is broken and not fun to play against. And no I shouldn't be able to go full tank janna vs a fiora and wreck her just because I'm better at the game than she is (unless it's like hella better), but you get the point I hope.
