@Meddler - Syndra and Karma: Why Are They Being Neglected?

Throughout season 8, Syndra and Karma have been hovering between weak and subpar. Currently, Syndra is one of the worst performing midlaners, and Karma one of the worst performing midlaners and support.

What have they gotten in season 8 (3 preseason patches + 12 patches)? Karma: literally nothing (apart from a shield nerf lol). Syndra: her Q got reverted (fixing the mistake they made in season 6). Nothing else.

In patch 8.13, Orianna and Khassadin will be getting buffed. This will make Syndra the worst performing midlaner, apart from Galio and Azir (who have been nerfed because of pro play) and Karma (lol).

Karma is and will be THE worst performing midlaner apart from Azir, and is currently the worst performing support (out of all champions who have support as their primary role).

They are not getting buffed in patch 8.13. Another patch where they are left in a weak state.

Orianna is getting a buff because of the shield nerf from last patch and because she was already soso before it. What's funny is that she's still a better mid than Syndra even after the shield nerf. Karma was also worse than Orianna pre-nerf, and is worse than her right now as well. Ori gets follow-up, not Karma (even though they said it affected Ori and Karma about evenly lol).

I really don't get it. They don't even talk about why they're not buffing them or trying to help them. Complete bias.

Syndra's problems are: Low early damage at a time where high early damage lanes are the meta. Mana cost issues early if you try to be aggressive. Low mobility. All of which combine to make her be in a very weak spot.

Syndra's weakness is a product of this patch. Not her apparent weakness
