at patch 5.15 he has a winrate of 48.84% at patch 5.16 thonrmail got changed at patch 5.16 rammus's winrate is 52.58 and currently it is about 53%. Using these facts I think we can assume rammus only became stronger after the changes, not weaker. Thornmail rush + bonus armor from W = tons of dmg (even an ap caster that autos you)
I just wanted to point it out, im not saying rammus is op or thornmail is op.

Just because Rammus got an increase in his winrate the same patch that Thornmail got changed does not mean that Thornmail buffs caused Rammus to get an increase in power that increased his winrate.
Dracocrash1 votesYep you're right, But there are no other factors that could have caused rammus's winrate to rise that come to mind. Juggernauts became popular around this time, vayne was a strong adc. None of these factors particularly effect rammus's winrate. So i came to the conclusion that the thornmail change was a buff to him. I even tried it myself and after playing rammus top and rushing thornmail, the enemy riven was practically unable to auto attack me for a good duration of the game.
