Can I get some help on Teemo Vs Jayce?

Jayce can not beat him, I have tried everything but the simple fact is 2 teemo attacks guarantee a won trade for the fuzzy demon. For those of you who don't know this Jayce has a melee form that is primarily your recharge point for your mana pool. If you don't utilize your melee form you run out of mana fast due to you being an AD caster and you lose out on your passives massive damage. The problem is you are still very squishy in melee form and teemo eats melee squishes. You can't trade with him and you can't all in. You can poke him down but you can't keep that up very long because you cant go hammer and recharge.

I know Jayce has no been updated in whats probably been a year and a half but there has to be a way to do this.

Um how does teemo get in range to aa? Jayce in ranged form outranges (right?)and can EQ poke the shit out of him.

He can EQ poke 3 times before running into a mana shortage. His cannon range is about the same as teemos maybe a little farther but not enough to kite with.
