How does the community feel about Smite Top Lane, Now not only do you get either the choice of a powerful slow and/or 20% damage reduction but you also get a Super Sunfire Cape that is capable of doing more damage than normal Capes and provides 25% increased health!

There are 2 new items Cinder Hulk and Cinder Bam Cinder Hulk can only be built by Junglers and does upto 63 (15+Level upto x2) Cinder Bam is anyone, and does upto 23 (34 vs monsters) (5+level [x1.5 vs monsters]) Sunfire now requires Cinder Bam and continues to be 43 (25+level)

However armor is easy to get and a lack of health is the biggest problem Tanks have to deal with currently.
Taking smite in lane may give you trouble though, because the jungle items don't do much besides giving smite. and that Smite is semi useless until you get the update.

Yes, but plenty of top laners can rush Sunfire as their first item as well as if your jungler starts on the opposite side of you, you might be able to smite something for an early advantage
Duke Anax1 votesA strategy that may work here is: Pick a Carry that can hold Bot for awhile on it's own and send the Assist Top (with Dorans) Split the first clear between Top and main Jungler, take three camps each, maybe upgrade smite then gank bot together. After that Support can get their support item and everyone takes regular positions.
