And The Twitch Nerfs Don't Stop Coming

Rat Main Here. You are gutting my main. Gutting. To name a few lovely nerfs that I will be plagued with affected by in the comign updates:

  • Fervor Change - This is a massive buff to ADC's like Ezreal and Lucian with AD. However Twitch has only one scaling ability. With the previous Fervor, you could apply the same amount of damage with every Spray and Pray bolt, but now the extra damage will be reduced the more targets you hit.
  • Due to the instant invisibility and the 'camoflauge' you now can't pull of jukes, or the old 'Q and Recall' tactic. Thus eliminating Twitch's one and only escape. His Q is basically just a really, REALLY shitty version of Jinx's passive now.
  • His Youmuu's has been rendered un-usable due to the attack speed removal which made it good on him. RIP. Now we'll have to turn to weaker items like BORK, or have to stick it out til lategame for the traditional ADC build to kick in.
  • Camouflage is a huge nerf in general, and can still be seen by Control Wards, which will be slightly more prevalent now that they are only 50 gold. Meanwhile it become all the harder to take on Assassins like Kha'zix and Shaco (who still one-shot people, despite Riot for one shots to not be a thing), and other invisibility users like Vayne.
  • The change to his W means he'll be yet again, weaker against opponents with dashes like Vayne, Lucian, Ezreal, etc. They now will just be able to dash out with only 1 stack on them.

Please just don't dumpster this rat. Give him something at least. Make his poison damage scale off of AD. Revert the Q attack speed nerf. Buff BORK. I don't even know at this point but I feel like Twitch is going to be a hell of a lot weaker.

I've been trying to get Riot to do something about KogMaw for a month now. No one listens but I feel you.

If I was an ADC player, I'd use Twitch. I learned him front and back because his personality is the best of all ADC's. Jinx is just a pretty-faced over hyped over popular Twitch wannabe. Twitch is ugly. Twitch is stinky. And Twitch gives no fucks. Because he's Twitch and he'll murder you using popsicle sticks and glue for his art homework on the days he believes he's an elementary school student.

I mean I'm still going to use him because I love him but it's going to be alot harder to do well

His Q in terms of utility is destroyed. I'm interested to see their answer to that. Knowing Riot, there won't be one.

Just buff the Q attack speed, buff bork, and Twitch is playable.

As a fellow lover and semi-main of good ol' Twitch, (2nd Most Played Champ), I've been waiting for someone like you to speak up after Riot announced these changes. Now, it's easy to see Riot's perspective, stealth being a difficult mechanic to work with and the counter play being a 30g ward. But these changes, while yes, not directly aimed at Twitch, are nerfing the hell out of him. I can't help but start a rant. I've been playing him before the meta shifted and Twitch began rising in popularity, and the feel of the kit and the lore has always been this crazy rat that jumps out at random and then disappears again. He had high burst, a long stealth, an awesome long range ult that modified basic attacks, and a poison. This was balanced by the fact that he was very squishy, his only escape was a stealth that took time to arm, died to most abilities that let tanks or assassins gap close, and he had nearly no utility, just raw dps. Not only have they reduced his burst (AS NERFS), but now by giving enemies a warning about how close he is when he enters stealth, or even if he's stealthed or not, this will make his q nearly useless for combat. NOT ONLY will enemies that are chasing or being chased by a Twitch be notified when he's going into stealth, they'll also know how close he is. This will completely take away the element of surprise, and give opponents time to use a vision ability or item, or just prep, therefore nullifying his stealth. So in the end, an ability that has been a core part of Twitch's character, a high mana cost, long cooldown, unique ability, is turned into a mere (NOW SLIGHT) AS buff. And quite frankly, stealth was always Twitch's saving grace, when ADCs like Jinx and Jhin (who can blow you up if you give them a moment to position themselves), and Ashe and Caitlyn (who can keep you at bay and shoot you down at long range), Twitch could compete by bringing things no other viable ADC brought. Taking away the strengths of his stealth, and just leaving him with a mild teemo poison, an expensive slow, and an expensive Jinx minigun, he going straight back to where he was before the meta. In the trash pile. All in all, if Riot goes along with these stealth changes and not changing anything about Twitch, he will be in a weird spot. Just talking about stealth, put him in the stealth camp, he can no longer be seen by pink wards and has possibly the longest stealth in that camp, it's not balanced. Put him in the "Camouflage" camp, and on top of his recent nerfs and upcoming item changes, he'll be extremely under powered. Take away his stealth, and you destroy the champ many of us know and love. It's going to be difficult to adjust him properly, I just hope Riot can do so well.
