Talons win rate has shot up since the lethality buffs, understandably so since he would normally buy all 3. He is currently 1st in winrate for top lane and 6th in mid.
However when Quinn has the 4th best jungler winrate... above Vi, Graves, Shyvanna and Hecarim... I think it's safe to assume the items are the problem

I will fucking flip tables if they ended up NERFING Talon because they even said he was WEAK at launch, and said "buffing his core items" would help him get on his feet. Would be complete utter BS.

Nerf lethality first, then look at the champions individually and decide which ones are out of line please, don't just nerf champions who are overperforming because of a broken mechanic.

the fact that talon can 100/0 you at lvl 2 clearly show it isn't JUST lethality
Shaydrox1 votesIn general damage output is insane right now. I will agree Talon's damage at lvl 2 is sick, mostly they put all his damage into 2 spells and his passive. I'd still first like to see what will happen to him when lethality and %dmg masteries get nerfed tbh.

Also they are also lowering the damage on the masteries on PBE. Talons use double edged sword, execution and precision which all could get nerfed. This will lower every champions damage who take them all by 5% to 10% and will change his all in range considerably

feryvunny2 votesThis is a common and also retarded argument point. First being that LB could 100-0 you at level 2 and she doesn't even use lethality. Second, you can get lethality runes, which I tested and does indeed do more dmg even at lvl 1/2 than full AD runes. Third, he's trading that damage for not having his E be useful at all in-lane and BARELY useful getting back to lane (from base).
On top of that. If you are playing any champion mid and aren't playing around his W, ESPECIALLY at level 2, then you deserve the fucking death. Wait out his early spike, deny his snowball potential, forcing him to roam, alert your teammates of said roam, and hope they aren't brainless monkeys, shove wave in and force him to miss CS. His E is good for roaming, but his shit base 335 MS still makes it hard for him to get around until he gets more lethality items and mobis/swifties.
Play around his strengths and weaknesses, just like you'd do with any other assassin. Not a hard concept.
Automated Riven1 votesad quints and red make talon do damn near 50 damage more then he does with lethality quints and reds. I just tested this in a custom game. with AA w aa q aa and passive with lethality he did 313 damage and ad he did 363. the damage is exactly 50 more with ad over lethality.
