Double Up will eat a spell shield Double Up can not crit on the original target. Love Tap will show up as a second critical strike (for 100% of the normal damage). Varus had his spell shield in place.

It was a normal attack that scored a critical strike.

Sorry bub. Even if I'm wrong it can't be 1 attack. If you look closely you will see that Varus got hit twice. Once for 1.1k and the other for 400 damage. Bother were crits. But continue to blow things out of proportion if you really want.

The second crit for 400~ish is from either Shiv or RFC. Not sure which though. I just know that if the AA that procs them crits, so will they.

Shiv and RFC deal magic damage. It was a physical damage crit for 496.

Also the initial crit was 1171.

It was Miss Fortune's passive Love Tap, which deals physical damage. Shiv and RFC deal magic damage and neither would have done that much due to a lack of scaling and the fact Varus had Edge of Night for MR.

I already explained exactly why it had shown up like that.

Love Tap will show up as its own instance of physical damage on a target. Play MF in practice tool, make sure the damage numbers are enabled, and see for yourself.

Wow I looked at the thread he mentioned and you really are toxic as they get. Telling someone to kill their self is never okay in any form or fashion. If you think there is nothing wrong with telling someone to kill their self then you really do have social issues. If someone tells a person with severe depression "kys loser," it is not something that they can just 'get over.' And they are not being over sensitive; depression is a real mental problem that people can not just get over.

I never said not to punish them nor did I say I do that sort of thing but, sure, call me toxic because I don't think like you. That's what everyone else has been up to since I made the decision to sin by saying what I think. Well anyways I don't care about this whole discussion anymore. You're missing the point as to why they're calling you toxic.

You use the same mentality those same players do.

And frankly, I'd call you toxic simply for being so nonchalant about it.

Again, you might not be doing it yourself, but to say that it's not serious is enabling the toxicity to spread. If you don't want to have those toxic players in your game, speak up by reporting them. If you don't report them, you have no right to complain when they ruin your game one way or another.

So in the end I'm either with you or against you, is that it? I can't think that it should be punished without thinking it should be punished how you want it? One-more-time. I'll say it: One More Time I believe that they should be punished but it is a verbal offense and therefor should be treated as one. I don't believe it should go unpunished, though. You know I've kissed a lot of ass to stay out of trouble growing up. But if it's one thing I don't do is force myself to say my ideas are wrong just to please people. I have no problems saying I'm wrong but I do, however, hate it with a passion when people expect me to kneel over and force myself to think as they do when they don't even try to get what I'm saying.

I don't support the flamers but I don't support draconian measures for verbal offenses. If you are going to insta-ban people who type "KYS", then you should also insta-ban the people who type "GG EZ". Because either can make a person suicidal depending on how they are when they log on. So yeah, I'm not going to support you trying to have your cake and eat it too.

I'm not on your side and I'm not on their side either. I think my own way so go ahead and crucify me for thinking for myself.

Crit is always an unlucky stat for the target.

The point remains that with one auto and the right combination of items/runes, Miss Fortune literally 1 shot a level 17 Varus.

To deal the 1667 damage that the auto attack did, Veigar would need to have enough flat pen to deal true damage and a total of 1,790 AP, which is insane even by his standards. He'd also be on an 80 second cooldown before he could try that again.

Veigar would q ult tho not just press ult, those days are over. And he would only need about 8-900 ap to get a twoshot on.

Edge of Night would eat the Q, and then Veigar's ult wouldn't be able to finish the job.

Miss Fortune did in one Auto Attack what the burst mage would be unable to do in two spells.

I don't think that really matters much in this case.

You'd still need 1,367 AP to kill Varus, but you'd also need to break his Edge of Night with Q first then hold him still with E. So you'd need to land 3 spells to make up for what can be done with 1 auto attack.

I'm not sure,but i think double up broke the spell shield,counted as a kill then crit varus with bonus damage.

Nope.

Double Up will bounce off a spell shield, but it cannot ever consider it a kill shot in turn for the bounce since the original target could not have died.

It was a critical auto, empowered by IE.
