allow remakes under a second condition

If a player has not bought items, done zero damage, and has received zero experience points by 3:00, allow a remake.

This saves you from having to wait until 15 minutes if a player connects briefly and screws up the remake condition, but does absolutely nothing and sits in fountain

I think if a player is AFK at any point for at least 7 minutes (or connected and just not doing anything) you should be able to vote to instantly end the game with the same majority rules as remake (2 votes). LP losses would be very slightly reduced but not by much (maybe 2-3 less LP lost). After all you shouldn't get rewarded for giving up.

Also a clause that lets you remake if a player disconnects within the first 3 minutes. I don't hate the players, cause sometimes you have bad internet, or a crash or whatever. But having to 4v5 for 15 minutes without the chance to remake just because someone got DC'd sucks.

Could be handy, but I have faced situations more often, when players keep connecting and disconnecting every 2 minutes, and by this time they manage to reach the lane.

He came back around 10 minutes later - facing a lvl 12 Teemo while he was still lvl 1.

Instead of:

has not bought items

I would suggest:

has not moved away from the fountain

EDIT: Actually, with that suggestion the other two conditions could be removed as well

Ok sure but why10/13/2018, 6:08:44 AM2 votes

But then the trolls would have to purchase an item when they want to ruin my ranked games! Oh, the humanity!

I like this idea.

What if they go to lane deal some damage and afk at the turrent until he disconnected and never come back? This way it is still 4 v 5. I think the better way to solve this is that when the game ended with 4 v 5.

if the 4 people lose: 5 people on winning team will gain the same LP. 4 people won't lose as much LP as it usually be ( maybe just 5 LP loss or 0 if Riot are nice). The leaver loses double of the amount LP as it usually be for punishment + ban if someone reports the leaver.

if the 4 people win: same LP for losing team and winning team leaver will have no LP gain.

and also your idea is great too

The point of remake isn't to deal with either trolls or these outlier cases (though I am assuming this is what you mean, cause I don't completely understand your example.) The point of Remake is that someone never connected at all, and so the others can get away.

Not to mention, how abuse-able this would be with premades. You could easily counter that with "Just punish all of them", but what happens if an actually legit version of this happens? Some friends get punished cause of one accident or something?

Riot literally only care about high end game play, they just let us suffer xD

LeftyRaydy10/12/2018, 3:28:18 PM1 votes

you know I make a post talking about a new way to deal with DC's and people start talking down my idea, but literally you can easily take advantage of this with a duo going in for a risky invade or make an early risky play, but have someone DC immediately getting into the game and if doesnt work that person will never load in...

How about if a player disconnects, it auto kicks the corresponding member of the other team?

I also like the idea of a FF gives the winning team max credit for the game. You get more XP for dragging the game out than you do for ending early. FF robs the winning team from getting an S rating and also takes away credit for actually winning too hard.

You could also monitor the average and max ping of each player. Any lag spikes would kick the player and then end the game. Lag over 500 is auto kick then auto end . lag of 120 plus or pick some number...auto kick....maybe give them 2 minutes to reconnect and recheck, then kick and auto end.

Of course none of you will like any of this, because it would be simple and easy and requires no troll vote.
