So I just played a game in blind pick and got in a match up Leona vs Teemo. I thought I was going to get my ass handed to me but turns out pretty much after lvl 3 she can just stick to Teemo and just pummel him to death as long as you're paying attention to when you're blinded and when you're not. Lvl 6 it was even easier with the chain stuns. So, I'm thinking she might have some potential there vs Teemo.
Sasogwa3 votesIn a sololane? I think Teemo with a correct setup of runes simply does too much damage, and Leona can't proc her own passive, which is annoying for trading. If Teemo plays it right (kites, attacks back when Leona goes away, pokes), I'd give the edge to Teemo.

Hellpyre2 votesI play a lot of Leona. If you can't stick the Q after the E, the Teemo is going to have more than enough time for his MS buff to get him out of range and let him start hurting you. Leona is a pretty good character for getting to Teemo, but a good one is going to get away if you try to engage without using the ult first, and will be hard to finish with it if you have no backup.
Funkin Dunkin1 votesSee I think the advantage goes to Leo because while you are maxing Q first, W is being done second which gives her a huge defensive bonus. Also in this match up I built Maw first. So now I have MR + shield on heavy cc. At least in this game, even though my wave clear wasn't as good as teemo's, if I landed an E it pretty much became all or nothing. One of us was going to die.

DunkinNoobs1 votesLeona actually does pretty well against squishy laners with no sustain; there just aren't that many that go top lane. The double auto reset on Q is a pretty strong dueling tool and all the bonus resistances from her W mitigate return damage she might receive. Her low DPS makes her get shit on by anyone with sustain, but she can bully those that don't have it.
