Will be blunt in saying you've stretched the "defensive " category pretty broadly. Primarily in what the item is used for. Do note, just tryin to provoke discussion with a lil constructive criticism. Not trying to b a prick <3
Simply so I ain't too biased, I wouldn't cosider tri force a def item. Because you don't buy it to survive. You buy it to kill shit. Where as you buy deaths dance over blood thirster for the dmg reduction. Or rylai over morello for the slow.
Def item classifications I disagree with:

The main issue with banshees vs merc. Is you can pop banshees with non cc spells. Meanwhile scimitar is on demand freedom

The answer is no. Mages have enough itemization to not need a QSS on top of everything. You need a qss? You have cleanse.
