Zed - Completely broken or just average riot unbalanced trash?

neither or. Zed is actually one of the most if not the most balanced assassins there is actually in league. Let me list why:

Good scaling into midgame with an equally decent but not too harsh fall out for lategame
great mobility with set ranges that can be played around
Strong single target damage without broken strong AoE damage if compared.
Damage is situational Due to Death mark only bursting if the target suffers consecutive damage for those 3 seconds
ressource that can be depleted relatively fast even if carefully used and can be abused as a means to counterplay him

Honestly, i could make this list so much longer but this is about it.

As for his weaknesses:

Weakest lvl 1 out of all assassins. (Hell even shaco has a better lvl 1)
Waveclear depleds his entire combo
long cooldowns earlygame
kill spike massively reliable on his ultimate
passive only procs on a 10 second cooldown per target respectively. meaning you can't proc it twice or so
Damage is very item reliant. Zed effectively Needs damage buildings to stay useful
Linear Build path. Crit zed is too costy and tank zed has no damage. AP zed is troll enough to deserve a report.
Not teamfight friendly. Zed's damage is only strong in single target. AoE damage is nearly useless because his damage is minimalized by both a flat amount AND a percentage if it hits anyone past the first one.

What makes zed so "Broken" by feeling is that a good zed can outplay the ever living shit out of anyone with his W and R shadows teleporting around like son goku and the fact that if he is not stopped by..lets say...exhaust, a support, any cc, or you just flashing AFTER he reappears from his ult and not BEFORE, then his damage can very much mean a kill.

youre probably the kinda guy who flashes when zed ults on you then wonder how he appears right next to you :/

I listed you legit every weakness he has and even in his strengths there are more weaknesses listed that can be accounted for. Honestly if you call the most balanced assassin broken then i dont wanna know what you will say to stuff like full crit garen or onhit tahm kench

Then don't flash until he reappears from his ult. simple as that. and don't solo splitpush an unwarded lane. zed's power partially grows with the enemies stupidity and unawareness. just like any assassin, really.

out of his 3 mobility spells, only one has a set distance, because it puts you behind your enemy. Unless you count his second ult, but that isnt predictable.

As for his weaknesses: I want to see Fizz beat Zed level 1, or most other ap assassins. Other than his W his cooldowns are short early game, every assassin relies on their ult, every champ needs items to do damage except tanks hehe.

another mad Person who does not know how to Play around zed.

ALL his mobility spells have set distances and are predictable. his Ult's first appearance is always behind his target, his W is always where he places his shadow and his ult swap is always where he casted it, aka where the second shadow is.

Compared to said single target damage. If you look at assassins like Katarina and talon who can pentakill because of how much AoE they deal, zed has stupidly weak AoE damage next to his class and next to his single target burst.

And his damage IS situational. If you cannot deny him facerolling over whoever has death mark then that is on you.

Zed is a completely balanced champ, ask every high elo Player and every high elo Zed main. As i said, people who call zed broken are either drop dead easy to tilt, have no clue or just refuse to accept how to deal with him.

Zed is a very predictable assassin if you properly Keep tracks of his shadows.

got killed by a zed in lategame when he used Death mark, then he basic attacked me (ONCE). His death mark literally just blew me even though my blitzcrank exhausted him. I had steraks, armor boots, death dance, and trinityforce as gangplank. I also used my W. How? what can i do against that. He dove right into our team and killed me.

I call that no risk, high reward.
