Fiora has some "snowbally" issues

Hi.

I'm writing this thread to give a little hint to Rito balance designers.

Core problems with Fiora at the moment:

  1. Her Q and R scale from bonus AD. That's a major issue in my opinion. You can't trade with Fiora early because she will outtrade you. Once you die, she'll win the lane and snowballs rest of the game.
  2. His kit overall is "point and click", boring design with good snowball capabilities.

I want Rito to rework her or remove these bonus AD scalings on his Q and R (manly on Q). Give her a Riven treatment.

You know the Riven treatment was to go from total AD to bonus AD, forcing Riven to purchase AD items to become powerful rather than just relying upon base stats. Fiora already has bonus AD rations instead of total AD ratios.

If you were confused and meant to suggest Fiora should change from bonus AD to total AD, then that is a terrible idea. Yes, it would make Fiora less snowbally, but it would do that by making her more powerful at all times during the game regardless of whether she has gold or not.

I don't like Fiora because I don't understand how Fighters and Assassins work. If she kills you, she did her job and I don't like that because I don't know how to counter her.

Forget about Akali, Fizz, Zed, and the likes. I want Roit to gut Fiora because I don't know how to counter auto-attack champions.

FTFY.

Fiora isn't Kat, Akali or FIzz, her snowball is much weaker than those at the top of the game. You shouldn't be trading with Firoa pre first back anyway. If you are a Brusier you need to back and grab a giant's belt, otherwise just farm. Let her push you to tower and farm under, or just pick litterally any ranged top against her and you should at least go even.

The base damage on her Q is pathetic and her ult damage is getting nerfed though she is pretty useless outside of team fights.

Respect her damage in lane, don't attack her with her W up, attack her when her CD/s are down, build armor and health. Sunfire is a great tank item against her.

I remember when snowballing was less forgiving. If you think its bad now...omg last season if i got one kill in lane with Fiora i'd be able to 1v3. She is nothing compared to that now.

If you actually did your research, you'd see that they are already planning on reworking her.

sigh. just get a fucking thornmail.

shes a melee carry. you deal with her like any other melee carry. lock her up and kill her before she can react.

Doesn't sound right. Many healthy champions scale with bonus AD.

You can't trade with Fiora early because she will outtrade you.

Sounds bad for health in top lane, but I'm not entirely convinced it's true.

Right. Here's the problem. Fiora is a ball of stats champion who wins or loses based on having bigger numbers than the other guy. Not a lot of decision making or counterplay in Q, E, or R, and honestly it is very hard for opponents to not proc the W in any profitable way. She is going to get to you, stick to you, and you are only going to win if your numbers are bigger.

Her play pattern is just absurdly reliable, which leads to a situation where either she has enough damage to make the kill and she's oppressive, or she doesn't and she's ineffective. She needs more ways to juke and be juked. This problem is present in many fighter kits.

All melee carries do honestly, they're abominations simply because of that.

Bork then stack armor. Fiora becomes useless.
