@Riot, Brand PBE buffs?

A while back I saw buffs to Brand E and R on the PBE but they got reverted. Brand is my favorite champion and it seems to me that he is in an ok state after the rework so it worries me that buffs will push him over the edge and make him too strong to then get nerfed in the future until his garbage, so what was the idea with the buffs that were tested in the PBE and are there still plans to buff Brand?
