Yeah he can assassinate one member of your team, Jinx assassinates your frontline then chases down your squishies with her passive landing 650+ range rockets that two-shot your backline. And she self-peels better then most AD carries by having mobility through her passive, hard CC and soft CC. Her laning phases is ridiculously strong too. Traps and wards keep her safe from ganks, she can bully most AD carries early too.

Not to mention a ridiculous winrate considering her 34% pickrate and occasionally dipping in 56-57% ranges at Plat+

But sure Zed is definitely the problem in this tank meta.

One is a melee caster who is played in solo lanes and has high burst but lacks sustained damage.

The other is a ranged marksman who is played in duo lanes and has low burst but very high sustained damage.

Are you seeing any problems with your comparison yet?

Jinx Q (the minigun's attack speed) is being nerfed on PBE.

Not nerfed per se. Half of Q minigun AS will scale with Jinx's level instead of ability rank.

She'll have less attack speed for the vast majority of the game. She'll have much less in the laning phase. It's a nerf.

At level 9 the difference is 35% so it's not really THAT big of a nerf.

35% is a pretty big nerf. That's a lot to lose. It might not completely kill her, but this is absolutely a significant nerf. "Not nerfed per se" isn't correct here.

Have you seen a good Zed? I've seen too many times where he ults a squishy, blows all of his cooldowns extremely fast, then blinks out as their carry explodes. With absolutely little time to react to it.

They didn't nerf Zed because he was "too strong." They've already stated that Zed is the epitome of balance.

They didn't make the nerf because he's "overpowered" they nerfed him because of "principle." It was still the wrong way to do it, most certainly the wrong way, but they didn't do it because he's "too strong."
