Why is it so luck based in Silver? And because it is so luck based that you have to play even better gold players to climb. It makes no sense when you think about it.

Then Riot should stop putting those who finish placements into Silver. Everyone should start at Bronze 1 max.

do you know what would truly balance the ladder? starting everyone off at B5 and making it a +/-1 ladder where X amount of games get you to the next division. so yes, it would take a lot of games to reach the top, but it would be a hell of a lot better than being unable to carry players because of such a gross missmatch in elos across the teams.

Silver is better at early game than Bronze by a pretty wide margin, but neither elo knows how to play mid to late game well.
In fact, I'm Gold and I don't have mid to late game down as well as I'd like to.

vOmvbrawfU1 votesThey halved the experienced required to reach level 30. So you essentially have level 20 players getting into ranked. They start 0-4 in their games and are still playing at a silver 4 elo somehow. Plus if you're put into silver it's pretty much impossible to drop to bronze.

I was stuck in Silver 2 for so many games.. Back and forth back and forth. It was really up to luck most of the time
