I'm done with ranked

Even the enticement of a gold border and victorious skin isn't enough to keep me in this toxic, frustrating and broken system.

MMR is about as useful as tits on a bull. Players are 80% of the time toxic or bad and the other 15% are ark or trolls and the 5% decent people left a long time ago.

Tanking is impossible because you have to rely on others to deal damage to the right targets (NOT WW ult on the thorn mail Irelia)...good god I'm still pissed about that.

Supporting just gives you grief and no one else helps with warding.

Jungling is shit since preseason and everyone wants banks when you are half health or busy trying to save one lane while the other 2 start dying.

Honestly the sheer amount of hours and games I've had to put into this flawed system is ridiculous I don't know how many games I've come out of lane positive and still needed the game with a decent KDA and we still lose.

I ping. I roam. I give advice. I teleport gank bot when they are having trouble and nothing helps.

So goodbye ranked and your stupid notion of not letting people progress based on their own individual play and base it off of luck and the odd chance that some semblance of teamwork and strategy may be achieved. Let me know when I can actually be evaluated on my own skill level in a system that doesn't require thousands of games just to get outta Bronze only to be forced back into it at the end of the year. Thanks Season 5 resets!

GG RIOT GG your system won!

umm, I got from bronze 3 to silver 3 in a week last season. this season's about the same. it's only really, really hard to climb if your skill level is about the same as your rank.

Well good for you whatever deity you worship must have your back cause I'm apparently the un-luckiest son of a bitch this side of the East Coast.

Congrats on the achievement but tales of your success does not help me in the slightest

my point is the more you improve yourself, the easier you will find climbing. I'm sorry for not really making that clear before. the better you are, the easier games will become and you will auto climb. if you are having a hard time, you just need to keep improving.

As much as I believe that the fact that I made it to silver last season should dictate that I can make it there this year and you can't deny that more often than not, you'll lose a game for things that are out of your control. For instance my latest game as Sion I wrecked the Cho'gath top lane but finished the game with a 4/3/8 KDA and a loss because my zed fed the enemy Irelia in mid....somehow this is the same game where the WW in his infinite genius kept ulting everyone but he enemy adc. I was the tank I engaged with my ult and tried to disrupt their divers. We lost, not my fault, there was no way i could have done better.

I would say it's much harder to carry a game in low elo as a tank such as sion, then it is something with damage like tryn, or riven, or annie. I will watch the replay.

there was no way i could have done better.

Now that right there is part of your problem. No matter what you think there is ALWAYS something you could have done better. That doesn't mean the loss was your fault, but always remember the common factor in every game you play is that you were a part of it. You can't change your teammates, and you probably won't ever play with them again, but you can look at what you did wrong and that's how you can improve. In the end, the only way to win more is to get better, put your team on your back, and carry them to victory.

I may find that more often than not I lose because of something out of my control, but I also find I win more because of things that I affect.

Good point. I guess I was in the wrong mind set when I made OP however, like you said everyone can improve their gameplay but in a team game individual prowess is unrewarded. Yes I could have done things better. Maybe I could have warded more or got 10 or 20 more cs but at the end of the game we most likely would have lost and by we I mean collectively as a team individually I consider myself winning that game but that's not what is counted in ranked and thus my frustration.

Judge me by my individual play and I will gladly accept that misplays on my part may have helped to cost me the game and improvements can always be made Judge us as a team I will stand by the fact I did my fair share and far more but carrying is not possible in most gams despite what the 10% of players will tell you.

ok, I watched.

-cs is a bit low, 67 at 10 minutes in a free farm lane. a good number would be 90 to 80.

-120:00: wasted flash. you would ahve gotten an assist still since WW has both his W and red buff.

-15:20: why fight, WW actually would have lived, but you baited him and gave the other team two kills for one. irelia did come also, but you wouldn't have won the fight even 2v2. j4 is stronger than WW early and you don't do that much damage, unless you die, which did manage to get you a kill, but it was still not worth it.

-16:30: first thing i noticed was that you started drag on your own. don't do this unless you are sure the other team won't come. in this case, it was warded and they did come, but j4 died. WW then ulted into their team. don't follow since there isn't anything you can do. you continue trying to fight and bait lucian into the fighting. he dies and gives up a shutdown gold bonus to irelia.

-18:25: wasted ult.

-good job on solo kill on cho and getting tower

-23:10: go get drag, don't start to chase for kills. getting kills helps you get objectives. if you can choose an objecive or get a kill, get the objective.

-25:30: morg flashes, that's good, you ulted while zed is dead, not so good. you basically started a 4v5. other think i ntice is that you are still chasing for kills. while this can be ok, it's not in this case as you offer more as peel.

-26:28: zed just got three kills. if he was in the 4v5 making it a 5v5, that fight would have gone much better. he then picked up enough (this is with your help, but my main point here is that 5v5 is much better then 4v5).

-28:39: that ult. you ulted the dead tower which means you didn't even take a step. an ult that could change a fight around in a lot of cases is now gone. i would say that you not having ult did make a big difference in the next fight i see.

-29:03: this is a bad place for you and your team to b. it's fairly close to the tower and you don't want your team there unless you guys are taking it. you should have stayed away from that bush and closer to the drag. you could bait a fight at drag even which would have gone better for your team. your team stayed around that bush since you got morg binded and you can danger ping once. from this fight, other team gets drag which is fairly big.

-at this point, i noticed you didn't upgrade your trinket at all. upgrading your trinket basically lets you have two wards on you, but you can place up to three wards from it. it's like a sightstone in a sense. more vision, more knowledge about where the other team is. you should do this early on when you have the extra 250 gold.

overall, work on using ult effectively. don't use it just because you want to get to lane and make sure the way is clear. work on csing. you were missing cs while cho was out of lane. focus more on objectives than on fighting. you baited your team into some bad fights. when playing the tank, ask what you can do for your team, not yourself as you depend on your team for the damage. if they die, you are just sitting there.
