This is exactly what allows him to be better than bruisers
Out of the bruisers in this game, very few of them actually rely on AAs to do the brunt of their damage, most are AD casters more so then AA based champions.
Very much so. What has allows him to usually out lane despite his build.
Not really, he lacks the tools to fight ranged champions, lacks the tools to survive ganks, and is prone and easy to dive. His laning is horrible and it stops him from being top tier.
"I feel he can do a better job IF he gets to the carries". Still if for both. What's the point of this comment?
Yes, IF he can get to the carries, the advantage other bruisers have is that they actually can or have the tools to. Nasus has to just walk up, Darius can pull people in, Irelia can dash to the backline, Kled barrel through and dash twice to the back line. IF he can get to the backline, in theory yes, he can do just as much damage if not more, however he gets to do more damage because he has a harder time getting to the targets he wants to, you have to factor that in as well.
Are you high?
Because he isn't, Darius is ok at split pushing but there are far better options, yes, Darius can reset his AA with his W, however because of the item paths he is forced to go down because of his kit, he can't do things like get a Tri force to push as well as a Jax, nor does he have the option to escape collapses like Try can.
No shit, still does it far better than most or any bruisers i've been watching.
At what elo?
Nothing useful was made today. Just because you can choose each part of an argument and pseudo counter each claim doesn't make you right nor helps contribute to the question of the thread.
I'm answering your statements, Nasus has clear flaws in his kit that stop him from being top tier. In low elos where people don't know how to properly rotate, collapse, and abuse advantages, Nasus is amazing. People don't optimize defenses, junglers don't take advantage of the fact of Nasus's fighting capability being weak early, and they don't snowball off him like they should. He has to walk through five people's worth of CC and damage to do his damage and has no gapcloser besides making his enemy slower. He needs to be able to do a lot of damage end game because he has to far more so then any other champion to get it. When you factor all this together, Nasus isn't that strong, he can be with the right time and tools, but he has weaknesses that stop him from being the premier choice over say Camille, or Cho Gath, or Sion, or Swain, or Kled.
