Why am I the only person who seems to think Veigar is way too strong right now

To put this in perspective. Imagine if Nasus got 3 stacks for hitting a champion with Q and 1 stack per second for any champion damaged by his E.

Now the "farm" late game monster becomes this mid game assassin because anything he does gives him A BUTTLOAD OF STACKS.

Veigar's are rocking 400 ap by 20 minutes every single game. 800 AP with only 3 items. More then half their ap is the passive alone.

Why? Because he gets stacks for damn near EVERYTHING. Hit a champ? stacks. Kill a champ MORE STACKS, farm stacks.

To put this in perspective.

Since there is no cooldown on his passive, he can get 9 stacks for one shotting someone.

it takes 4 hits to do it. Stun, W, Q, R

4 stacks + 5 for the kill OR ASSIST.

In one teamfight, he can potentially get well over 30 AP. IN ONE FIGHT. WITH ZERO KILLS.

This coupled with his insane ap ratios make him such a hard snowballer it isnt even funny. I can't believe people are crying about Leblanc when this abomination is 1 shotting full tanks late game.

just focus veigar and he becomes useless

too many times i seen an assassin rush a low hp veigar and get 2 shot instantly with Q + R from full even though they had magic resist items and a passive shield.

You make it sound like the stun is unavoidable

Well, 9/10 times mid-late game, if he gets in range to stun around you... you're dead. It also stops your teammates from helping.

It's also got some damn good range, to be honest.

Fact is, avoiding the stun doesn't do anything if you're stuck inside the cage.

Not saying Veigar is or isn't OP, just stating some facts.

he is annoying but i wouldn't call him OP

I think it's because there's so much damage than a slightly fed Veigar can oneshot you very, very easily.

And then he snowballs so he can oneshot you with Q+R, or walk up to you with a teammate, have them hit your for 30% of your health in targeted damage, and then oneshot you with R.

When you say that someone is too strong and the answer you get is " just focus him" lel They agree that he is too strong by saying that but just don't want to agree with you literally. pftt

As for veig then make sure someone in your team gets banshee's veil to avoid his stun and late game he must be targeted first. Just CC him and then dive everyone. I mean if he gets a 3+man stun then 2 of you are dying in a second i assure you.

The other big issue with veig is that he is kinda weak early game for a mid laner. He can easily get poked so the mid should try to push the wave in so he loses farm and the jungler should gank him often. If his early game goes bad they are literally useless for a long time but eventually catch up. The infinitely scaling champs like nasus and veig are just such an abomination in lower elos where games last longer and people don't really pay attention to the fact that these champs shouldn't be allowed to farm in lane.
