I have been maining 
for over a year now. I have played nothing but him every game top lane and mid lane, I have about 900ish games on him and im only Plat 3. I started playing this game about 1 1/2 years ago, but I feel like with 900 games on Jayce I should be winning just about every lane. Why is it that I feel so bad still with Jayce? How many games does it truly take to master a champion in this game?
Jayce is not like other champs, it doesn't require knowledge like jax, it requires know what the enemy champ can do and cannot do. So if you want to become better(I hate jayce in-game but w/e) you have to play other top laners
I'm not skilled, but what I am good at is knowing what my enemy is capable of because I own and play every champ. That might help if you actually play every champ for yourself and see what they do.
Maybe Jayce is mastered as far as you can master him untill your skill level increases.
I mained Ahri for years, but now I play different Mid laners (well for like 2 years now) so I can fully understand what they can and can not do, when their weaknesses are, and other stuff like that.
