Thresh isn't much of a battle mage, but when that tanky soul sucker hooks you, you're better off opening shop and deciding what to buy for when you respawn than fighting back.

Seriously? Blitzhook is a death sentence, but Tresh is merely annoying.

While blitz can kill you with his pull then ult, that's only late game and on squishy targets. Thresh can throw his lantern back, pull himself into the enemy team, flay them towards his team and Ult for the damage and slow then the bruiser can jump in using his lantern and allow his ADC to pick off targets.

Blitz grabs are death sentences for lone squishy targets. Thresh hooks are death sentencss for an entire team

This was about laning not late game team fights.

Even then Blitz doesn't need to kill you, he got and ADC/team for that, and he emediately pulls you into a position where escape and rescue are unlikely.

But when Tresh hooks you, you only make a step or two forward, Flay doesn't move you much either. And when he jumps in with a mate they don't gain any advantage, it's remains a 2v2 or becomes a 2v5.

Yeah, but Blitz only kills off a single target. What about the other what if Blitz pulss in the wrong one? Thresh jumps into the middle of a teammate to completely distract him (He can get his off tank teammate to help too) while the ADC picks them off.

All I am saying is Battle mage with a pinch of CC and going bot lane seems to be the new Meta. I mean Annie,LeBlonc,Ahri,Ziggs,Lux,Morgana. I am sure I missed a few but you get the general idea.
