Why everyone is complaining about autofill?

Lets go back to season 1-5. It was wherever you fell in champion select pretty much meant you either got or didn't get your role.

So riot adds a system in order to help you get your preferred roles, but the draw back was that it increased queue times for everyone other then Supports and ADC's.

At higher Elos it made wait times go up significantly.

So to combat the new found problem of giving everyone the roles that they preferred riot decided to add in Autofill to help nullify those wait times.

The way I look at it. If Riot removes autofill, they might as well remove role selection too duo the the fact that it too also caused a problem.

Guys lets be a little realistic. Yeah its annoying to get autofilled, but sometimes you need to let other people carry you.

I prefer to have 4/5 chance to not get support rather than Riot telling me I have to chose 2 roles but get support 1 game out of 3 because autofill.

Don't get me wrong, I love playing support and I love support champions, but the role as a whole is just not impactfull enough for me to play it in ranked. At least not with the level of skills ADCs have in silver.

AND I would rather wait 10-15 or even 30 minute if it means I will have my role in ranked. I'm here to win, not to have the quickest queue possible and then have all the game in a role I either don't like or feel useless in. And there is so many dodges that you already have to wait 10 minutes because people don't like autofill.
