I know it was a super unfun toxic item with no counterplay, but I miss sword of the divine rengar :(

Except that never happens, lol. But yeah. Atmas impaler was VERY good on tanks who also had decent AD scaling. Voli, Garen, sion, Ad vlad...

Atually, I get up to 6000+ HP pretty easy as Sion. Cinderhulk, warmogs, randuins... most teams have a mage so you're probably going to build a banshee's veil... that's already 2100 extra health, plus any runes and mastries (e.g. Juggernaut), and your cinderhulk enchantment, and that's a lot. Add in when you have about 600 stacks on Soul Furnace... you're pretty "healthy" as is. If you add in another 700 HP from frozen mallet (Sometimes I build it as a sort of "finisher" item)...

I guess with Cinderhulk giving you +25% max hp... Atma's would have to go for the sake of balance.

6000HP with a full build. -500 for a free item slot~ 5500HP = 138AD from atmas. Since EVERY champion needs AD to be useful objectives wise (otherwise you get things like garen who are safe to ignore...) atmas had a very real niche that no other item filled.
