and not actually nerfing items like Hexdrinker, spirit visage + warmog and more...
I'm guessing by the end of seaon 8 every mage in the game will have additional true damage in their kit.

Well had true damage in their kit from a long time ago, and before the AP Vs AD situation mid got so crazy but yea being recently added and the new having True damage does seem a little odd.
Personally I really don't like true damage and it just feels like Riot wants everything to have it now, I mean Conqueror really didn't need to be true damage...
