What if the Tank rework doesn't help sejuani ? Can she be reverted back ?

RainbowIcee··3 votes·814 views

There was a point where sedjuani was popular but people were mostly happy about it. Sure she dealt too much dmg but then you nerfed her and things were good then nerf her items and she died out. Her kit was never the problem, there were better champions that could have used this "rework" but whatever no use in it now.** If this rework does not help her see more gameplay or appreciated gameplay. Can she go back ? If more people don't pick her up, and the old people that used to use her don't want to use the new one this would be a complete disaster for the champion.**

I already know a lot of you are on the boat of wait and see, but there's clear reports that stacking her E stun is difficult. The W doesn't help you stack it and the ultimate only does a 1 second stun and the explosion dmg and slow doesn't affect the victim only those outside.

what are you talking about? there was mad salt all over the forums during the cinderhulk meta.

the answer: yes the reality: the rework will almost certainly be better for her than her current kit

NO there wasn't much, there was a ton of complaint that she was over nerfed. Also some people that play sejuani now aren't looking foward to it specifically because of the new ult, the only thing missing is that people that don't play her already don't pick her up. Then she becomes a champ that nobody wants, at that point she should be reverted. Unless that was the goal.

I woudl have been ok if they had changed her W to the current one and just make it deal extra damage on someone with 4 stacks (that only sej can proc) and the passive could stay (teh tanky part) or reverted while keeping most of her kit intact. Now she is a single champion "tank"

That's not even the whole issue i've been reading a lot of feed back. She is very easy to peel off. A lot easier and with far less damage. I wish they just hadn't changed her, she was fine even if she was a 1 trick pony. It was an effective 1 trick with the Ult and was pretty good at sticking to her target.

Building her full tank in aram and she's a beast, she still hits hard enough and kills a lot. I'm afraid her rework may kill that. I strongly dislike her new ultimate, her top tier engage was lost.

Her ult was the only good thing about her old kit. People are going to use her once then go keyboard warrior on the board either saying "Sej rework is crap" or "Sej rework is broken, nerf quick". I was one of the Yorick mains before his rework so I know how it feels having one of your best champions changed.

complete b.s. sejuani being a constant slowing machine meant she could run through your team and you couldn't ignore her because she had a strong DoT too. ult was strong, yes, but she had plenty of other qualities that made her good.

now what? her niche is gone to be a lockdown tank with her new stun, as if we didn't have enough of them Galio Amumu Leona Gnar Nautilus Sion, her "skill expression" with ult is gone because it's only going to be used for E-R's ridiculous damage, and the satisfaction of landing it is gone because it's a worthless spell in nearly every other situation.

She already has nerfs on the PBE, before her rework is even out. She's going to be busted for a couple weeks at least.

Anything on Xayah? is she gonna get buffed, nerfed or will she be untouched?

Have to wait and see until the LCS event ends ( idk if it did ) but riot seems to be busy paying attention to that to see who to balance around it. After then i guess we'll see what happens.

Revert? If only they would.

only reason they reverted kog was the sudden cessation of pick/ban in pro play, they literally could not use machine gun kog maw, cant kite cant protect a stationary target. he needed to kite to stay alive.

and riot actually still wants to see kog maw in lcs, hence the revert the others were strategically taken out (veigar no longer support in lcs for flash stun on their new mobile kalista)

IMO its not that.

The reason they reverted Kog'maw is because his existence broke all on-hit items and caused them to be bad for every other champion because if they were viable on them they'd be broken on Kog'maw. The best way to describe his W was what if Veigar could double all of his AP for 10 seconds? Of course that would be broken, and they couldn't nerf the scalings on it either since making all of his spells do zero damage would still let him abuse op on hit items as long as he had that attack speed buff, it was that powerful.

Yup though you could have just said they couldn't balance him. Which was the official statement.

Yeah but saying that was way too simple. You gotta have a reason man.

They didn't revert Kassadin changes when the community lashed out at them They didn't revert Veigar changes when the community nearly stormed their HQ They didn't revert Shaco changes when the shaco mains spoke up

Gluck having Sej reverted no matter how good or bad she becomes
